There are two main ways that you can keep up to date with the latest news at Korea’s top milblog destination, the ROK Drop. Each option will suit different people and you’re more than welcome to pick any (or all) of them.
RSS
For those of you familiar with RSS and News Aggregators you can follow the ROK Drop via my RSS feed. Simply add it to your news aggregator and you will get notification every time something new is published on The ROK Drop. My RSS feed link can be found on the right sidebar. If you don’t know what an RSS feed is and are interested in finding out, I highly recommend you read this link that shows in detail how RSS feeds work.
If you are low-tech and prefer to subscribe to the ROK Drop by e-mail than you are in luck because you can also receive all the latest updates from the site by subscribing to ROK Drop via the subscription widget in the right sidebar. .
Note if you don’t like this service you can unsubscribe at any time. Also your privacy is assured with any of the above options. I do not use your details for any other purposes than what you sign up for and details are kept private.

For anyone interested in having picture next to their comment as their official avatar all you have to do is go to <a href="http://www.gravatar.com” target=”_blank”>www.gravatar.com and sign up for an account. Once signed up you can upload an avatar that corresponds with your e-mail address and every time you leave a comment on a WordPress blog your avatar will show.

This topic is probably a bit out of your lane and I'm posting in this forum with the hopes that the site admin sees it rather than your readers, I couldn't find any contact information on the site. I'm asking you for suggestions for an acquaintance from Ft. Knox, KY. Mrs. King has been informed that she must leave her housing after two months or her husband receiving No Pay Due because her husband is considered AWOL. 60 days ago he signed himself off post and never returned. When I knew him he was a cub scout den leader and a soccer coach for my daughter, someone who I would consider pretty stable. His wife is out of money and can not get an AER loan or any help from the Army. The Army has told his wife that they are not looking for him because he wasn't in the field when he went missing. His wife believes him to be the victim of a crime and is not only quite worried about him but is worried for herself and her children due to being homeless as of this coming friday.
As I said, I know that this is probably out of your lane but if you have any suggestions as to what Mrs. King can do to find her husband I would really appreciate them.

First I would recommend she talks to JAG and the IG to see what her options are.
If that doesn't work the best thing she could do then is contact her Congressman and inform that person of the situation. Congressmen are usually very receptive to helping people in the military and the command has to respond to a Congressional inquiry; I know because I have had to write letters back to Congressmen before myself after Congressional inquiries have been opened.

Hey guys, enjoy reading about the corridor. was stationed at original camp rice in yonjugol in 1973. moved to camp stanton, which was renamed camp gerry owen by the time i arrived there in the summer of 73. liked to go over and hitch rides on hueys. spent lot of time in the field and ville. King star, new yorker clubs and others can remembder right now. very primitive area when i was there. the year i arrived, we were told we would not have to wear fatigues and carry weapons around. served with b trp, 4/7th cav, 2nd inf div. was radio operator, but also served as codes clerk, postal clerk, scout and several other jobs the year i was there.

Oh, resurrecting this thread brings back some painful memories of victims of Tim Avants (see comments this thread, 14 -20). BTW, comments 17, 18, and 19 were all Tim Avants under a different name.
The comment by ChickenHead (R.I.P.) was just ill-informed. The Tim Avants was delusional and trashed some very fine people. Some of his victims and their families are still reeling from his attacks after two years.
