Camp Humphreys Soldier Faces Fraudulent Enlistment Charge and Could be Barred from Returning to the U.S.

This is an unusual story involving a soldier at Camp Humphreys:

Fadel Tankoano stands with his brothers at a U.S. Army basic training graduation in 2018.

An Army soldier who is finishing his assignment abroad might be blocked from reentering the U.S., government officials said, in a dispute over his legal status stemming from his birth in New York while his father was a foreign diplomat there.

Army Pfc. Fadel Tankoano, 22, said he thought he was a dual citizen of Niger and the U.S., pointing to the U.S. passport he was issued as a toddler and a birth certificate from a Manhattan hospital.

But officials said Tankoano misrepresented his status when he enlisted in 2018 and on passport applications.

Tankoano’s Nigerien father enjoyed full diplomatic immunity as a counselor at the United Nations when his son was born, State Department officials said. That means that he was not subject to domestic law — and that Tankoano was exempt from birthright citizenship.

Stars & Stripes

You can read more a the link, but the soldier is being discharged for a fraudulent enlistment. Additionally since he doesn’t have a valid passport he may not even be allowed back into the United States where he was born.

It took the Army two years and at least 3 movements to figure out this guy wasn’t a full US citizen? Even for the Army that’s pretty slow. I’m curious about the passport he had at one time, I would think with Nigerian parents USCIS would have checked this more closely, or they did which is why he was not able to renew it, which could be the reason this whole thing started.

Protip: All babies born in the USA with non-American parents should be “exempt from birthright citizenship”.

Yeah, whomever issued him that fraudulent US Passport ought to be given the same treatment.

It’s “Nigerien” as in the country of “Niger”. Not “Nigerian” from Nigeria.

I’m not surprised at the complete ignorance here.

Good catch, Korea Man.

That’s why, to ensure everybody knows what I’m talking about and I don’t get caught up in trivial details that don’t really matter, I simply add another g.

The constitution disagrees with CH. So, CH, why do you hate the United States constitution?

The constitution does not disagree with CH.

The interpretation of the constitution disagrees with CH… specifically the part intended to deal with Indians and slaves that has evolved into benefiting Latin reconquistadors¹, African rejects, Muslim parasites, and Chinese birth tourists.

Because this part of the constitution is open to interpretation, there is hope it can be interpreted to end citizenship for children of illegals, even over existing case law.

The media might have left you with a different impression.

Bonus Thought: johnhenry makes accusations and demands answers (which are easily provided) but refuses to explain his anti-American attitudes and avoids condemning pedophilia.

Deflection and avoidance on this level may work with children and the infirm, but not with the adults in this room.

I”m wondering why your fantasies include people having sex with children. That would, in reality, make you the pedophile, you nasty piece of useless work.

Also, I’m wondering when GI Korea is going to take action regarding your stupid stunts here.

Deflect deflect deflect.

When you point a meaningless finger at me, three fingers point back at you.

1. You do not support policies that help America.

2. You have no suggestions, or interest, in alternative pro-American policies.

3. Inappropriate touching of children is not a deal-breaker for you.

…and when you make an angry fist and all fingers point back at you…

4. You have not yet been able to condemn inappropriate acts with children or the people who do them.

What action would you like GI to take? Ban me for condemning pedophilia or ban you for refusing to condemn it? I doubt GI approves of pedophiles or their sympathizers.

All you have to do is make a clear statement condemning inappropriate touching of children and the people who do it… and the topic is finished (unless you bring it up again). It’s that easy.
