Fine, I say US should remove THAAD and all other US Forces from Korea and make it clear we will not defend them in case they are attacked. Ungrateful little female dogs.

Flyingsword, you know it’s coming to that.

Maybe Trump will slap a 10% tariff on goods and services and stop issuing tourist visas?

Then again, this is all kabuki theatre. Koreans individually may be great oeople; but some geoups of Koreans are the whinyest children to ever inhabit the planet.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Trump makes ’em beg for THAAD…

Removing US troops from South Korea isn’t really a viable option as our troops are not solely for the benefit of the ROK. It’s a strategic posting serving US security interests.

JohnHenry, despite Puzzle Palaces belief, if we make it clear the ROK is its own against the Norks, Japan & Okinawa (despite their protests) will be enough for us to cover our Asian alliances. There was a thought that when we pulled out of the Philippines that we would lose our edge in Asia. We didn’t and despite my year in and subsequent love for Korea, they aren’t critical to our Asian defense. Moving 3rd Brigade to Fort Lewis, and turning Casey into a9 month rotation proves that.
