Starbucks Workers Become the First Coffee Chain to Unionize in South Korea
The employees of Starbucks Korea have decided to unionize in affiliation with the violent, North Korean spy infiltrated, and illegal immigrant friendly KCTU:
Starbucks Korea workers have formed the first labor union at a domestic coffee franchise, joining the Korean Chemical, Textile & Food Workers’ Union (KCTFU), an industrial union affiliated with the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU).
According to the KCTFU on Sunday, employees of Starbucks Korea, the local unit of the global coffee chain, joined the union on Thursday and established a Starbucks Korea chapter.

My favorite part will be when I start noticing Starbucks employees with shaved heads so I know they didn’t get what they wanted.
This should be encouraged for all the chain McCoffee McShops to give the little guys a chance again.

Starbucks is probably one of the first things people cut from their budget when they don’t have as much for discretionary spending.

Considering @setnaffa thinks I’m a left-wing American, it’s understandable that he’d be surprised I don’t know the “Florida Man” meme.
The reality is that I’m Korean, so it’s perfectly normal that I’m not familiar with every internet meme or cultural reference from the United States.
Likewise, it would be perfectly normal if @setnaffa weren’t familiar with things that are common knowledge in Korea.
The difference is that I’m willing to admit there are aspects of American internet memes that I’m not familiar with.

Let us be reminded that @setnaffa , ChickenHead, and their supporters have repeatedly advocated positions are contrary to Korea’s national interests.
For example, they have argued against Korea maintaining a military that is capable of defending the country independently, supported by a strong domestic defense industry.
Instead, they have argued that Korea should continue relying heavily on USFK for its defense.
That approach would leave Korea in a more vulnerable position if the United States were ever to reduce or withdraw its military presence. A strong, self-reliant military provides Korea with greater security and strategic flexibility.
Considering that @setnaffa is receiving money from China, it would be in @setnaffa ‘s interest to ensure that Korea remains weak and ripe for Chinese takeover.

That is true to an extent.
But unlike America, where large segments of the population activity want America to fail in many endeavors, Koreans overwhelmingly want Korea to succeed.

Yes and no. In the past, paying USFK gave access to top quality weapons systems from stealth to nukes and a local tripwire. The cost was very reasonable.
As Korea’s weapons systems become more advanced, there is less need to rely on USFK for low-level defense.
But America still has a lot of advanced assets Korea cannot make on its own, so it is still a good deal to pay for access.
This opinion is in line with Korea’s best interests. It is also in America’s best interests.
It is not in the interests of anti-Korean organizations such as China, North Korea, and various globalists factions. These are all different entities but they have some shared goals and overlapping interests to see a weak Korea.

I once mentioned this to a friend back when the price of coffee doubled almost overnight. Hey you can brew coffee at home. And he said he liked to do his work on his computer for a couple of hours in the morning at Starbucks. So I told him about a much nicer coffee shop that was privately owned and cheaper. Then he explained the “Starbucks reward system” with “loyalty points”. He had a bunch of “free lattes” there, which kept him coming back by rewarding points. Starbucks and Bank of America launched a “loyalty partnership program” with this business model.
A similar example would be “fuel points” to shop at a certain grocery store. I remember asking a different person why they shopped at (x) because it was so expensive and she said she needed the fuel points for “cheaper gas” apparently not realizing she was paying more overall. These business models with loyalty tiers and rewards are pretty ingenious.
Edited to add: On the grand scale, as foolish as getting on the expensive coffee train might be, similar foolish cost to gains equations abound on a grand scale. Student loans, et al. Many many families are actually paying more for both parents to work after childcare and other work related expenses are taken into account.

(You can dislike Trump but you have to clearly and rationally define why… which no NeverTrumper has been able to do… or even show an ability to try).
In 2021, the mindless desire (and demand) to become the subject of a medical experiment for an experimental substance made with experimental technology was my second clue that around 80% of the population was incapable of reasoning.

Perhaps Trump is wrong to make America great again and serving the interests of Americans.
Perhaps America just needs to extract value from the ignorant and incapable American population, who prefer to do as they are told rather than think for themselves, and transfer this value to the international ruling elite.
Keep avoiding learning valuable skills. Keep watching manufactured celebrities and sportsball while hating those who accomplish. Keep practicing instant gratification in every aspect of your life. Keep yelling against anything that helps you. Keep supporting self destructive agendas. Keep thinking you are morally superior when you are inferior in every other way.
