Iran Again Makes Threats Towards South Korea as Government Debates Middle East Deployment

If anything I would hope these threats would make the ROK government more determined to deploy assets to the Middle East to show they are not easily intimidated by the Thugs of Tehran:

Complicating Seoul’s deliberations on the issue is Iran’s stern warning against any potential military dispatch to the strait.

“Any other country maintaining a military presence or participating in operations in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz can only be regarded as directly supporting the perpetrators of the aggression, and it will lead to serious consequences,” Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry, wrote on X on Monday.

His social media post also carried a photo with a Korean-language message: “A dangerous choice comes with consequences.”

You can read more at the link, but I still think deploying anti-drone and missile defense forces to help defend the UAE is a strategy the ROK should pursue. As the Iranian regime becomes more economically desperate they are going to lash out and attack regional energy infrastructure which South Korea can help UAE defend against.

Korea used to get about 70% of its energy from the Straits of Hormuz.

Options:

– whine about high gas prices now because of tRuMp’S wAr

– whine about higher gas prices later becasue a nuclear capable Iran controls Hormuz shipping

– contribute to the protection of energy assets for countries which have supplied and will supply energy to Korea while demonstrating the capabilities of Korean defense systems to a market very much in need of systems that work

Fortunately, the Korea Things, always whining around about something or other and looking for ways to fail, and bring failure to everything around them, are not representative of the Korea that built a powerful industrial nation by producing good quality at a good price and marketing them to the world.

So, if there aren’t too many self-sabotaging libtards and globalist traitors in the Korean government, everyone will take a very business-like approach with Iran and get assets in place to demonstrate before this war is over.

…not “over” over. Iran isn’t going to give up and be nice. They just won’t be able to do much. Korean defense will sit around doing nothing while Iran undergoes slow painful Cubanization.

People continue behavior that is rewarded. That’s why appeasement never works.
