Study Shows Koreans are Eating Significantly Less Kimchi
Modern eating habits are definitely changing in South Korea:
Koreans are consuming significantly less kimchi than in the past despite the surge in global popularity of the country’s signature side dish, data showed Sunday.
According to a joint study by researchers from Chung-Ang University, Jeju National University, and the World Institute of Kimchi, the proportion of Koreans who reported eating no kimchi within the past 24 hours jumped from 11.7 percent in 2010 to 22.7 percent in 2024.

Well, because many use China made kimchi now for cost cutting purposes.. I don’t eat at restaurants that say 중국산 김치..
So enlighten us which restaurants do you eat at?
Also do you eat 짜장면 or 짬뽕?
“I don’t eat at restaurants that say 중국산 김치.”
“So enlighten us which restaurants do you eat at?”
I am guessing restaurants that don’t say 중국산 김치.
But I really don’t want to speak for Mr. Lee.
It is starting to look like Korea Thing is not just instinctively confrontational but also stupid.
…like really, really stupid.
ChatGPT is empowering a lot of people that had to just be quiet in the past to copypaste whatever insanity they get the AI to express.
The time is coming soon where leftists meatpuppets will be a true irritant.
This is more evidence that @setnaffa and the Setnaffarians don’t know anything about Korea.
Joshua Lee from his comment implied that he eats at restaurants in Korea.
But as every Korean knows, almost all restaurants in Korea serve Chinese made Kimchi to cut costs.
Which means Joshua Lee has almost no restaurants to go to except for those that serve Japanese, Indian, Nepalese, Russian, Turkish and Western fare.
Of course it’s obvious Joshua Lee will go crazy if the only restaurants he can go to serve the foods mentioned above.
Which makes me wonder whether he is Korean at all.
“The time is coming soon where leftists meatpuppets will be a true irritant.”
…and that time is now.
