South Korea is one of the most beautiful and scenic countries in the world. Regardless of who is President.

Lee’s first cabinet meeting proves he is a clown and has no business running a lemonade stand let alone South Korea. https://x.com/i/status/1930931082473713965

Flyingsword, that picture gives me hope.

China will take care of Korea!

It will feed Korea, clean up its messes, give it lots of love, and offer treats.

That is what that picture means, right? Right?

Funny, same could be said about Trump when it comes to the USA.

Knew this was going to happen. https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2025/06/06/south-korean-leftists-move-to-pack-supreme-court-hours-after-winning-presidency/

Kind of reminds you of our current SCOTUS, hmm?

“Kind of reminds you of our current SCOTUS, hmm?”

You know something we don’t know?
It was the agenda of the Democrat party to pack the USSC by adding more members.
It wasn’t even hidden, the DNC political machine wrote articles about it publicly, trying to drum up support.

“Funny, same could be said about Trump when it comes to the USA.”

People actually believe Trump has no goal and no plan and isn’t wiser after 4 years of analyzing his first term.

Mr. Whitlock, if I wanted your opinion, I would watch CNN.

Yes, Trump plays 4D chess and nobody can understand his mastermind genius strategy! He cannot be understood by simple humans!

“South Korea is one of the most beautiful and scenic countries in the world. Regardless of who is President.”

It doesn’t even compare to what America can be when it explores its potential.

Despite the wishful thinking, I haven’t seen much evidence that Trump play 4D chess.

He is pretty straightforward without much nuance.

He has a goal. He has plans. And like a bull in a China shop, he goes from here to his goal.

There can be a lot of wreckage along the way.

But his goal is excellent.

He doesn’t care about money or fame. He has that.

He wants to be a great president. He wants to be in the history books up next to Lincoln and Reagan… not down there with Carter and Biden.

To be a great president, he has to make America great (again).

So his narcissism will improve my country, my prosperity, and my future.

I WANT him to be a self-centered narcissist… as that is in my best interests.

Sadly, there are a lot of little people who can only repeat what the teevee told them.

“But but but narcissist.”

They are little people with little minds and little vision that doesn’t extend very far.

Protip:

All the news is fake.

If you ignore the news, you are uninformed.

If you follow the news, you are misinformed.

The way to manage this is to read all the news and synthesize an opinion based on facts, clearly omitted facts, knowing their tricks, and your bullshìt filter.

It is rare for the news to outright lie. If you have enough sources, all the facts are there. You just have to assemble them in a rational pattern.

While the news won’t “lie”, they will:

– Leave out relevant context, quotes, or data that would change the interpretation.

– Fail to mention motivations, counterarguments, or contradicting evidence.

– Highlight fringe or irrelevant details as the core of the story.

– Downplay or bury critical facts in the middle or end of an article.

– Use emotionally loaded or biased words to color neutral facts (e.g., “pounced” vs. “responded”).

– Frame an event using selective metaphors (e.g., “war,” “attack,” “victim”) to invoke emotion.

– Select only those sources or statistics that support the desired narrative.

– Ignore reputable sources or experts who disagree.

– Quote multiple voices from one side and only token opposition.

– Use anonymous sources for major claims while ignoring public denials.

– Present unequal positions as if they are morally or factually equal.

– Give marginal views unwarranted legitimacy or dismiss valid views as fringe.

– Use broad labels to group individuals unfairly (e.g., “protesters” when it’s a small group of rioters).

– Treat rare exceptions as common patterns.

– Use headlines that imply something not supported by the article text. Many people don’t read past the headline, so it sets the takeaway.

– Use unflattering or unrelated images to evoke emotion.

– Show a crowd from a deceptive angle to imply size or mood.

– Release stories when they’re less likely to get attention (Friday evenings, holidays).

– Bury certain articles in low-traffic sections while highlighting others.

– Repeat the same themes or buzzwords across multiple stories to create familiarity and apparent consensus.

– Attribute intention or emotion without evidence (e.g., “He lashed out” vs. “He replied”).

– Present partisan figures as “experts” without noting affiliations or conflicts of interest.

– Mix unrelated events or facts to confuse the reader or imply guilt by association.

I can probably think of more. I was taught this back when 1984 was required reading instead of Little Latisha Has Two Mommies.

Arguing all your news is real and the other guy’s news is all fake is not the way forward.

Again: It’s all fake.

Your job is not to be a sucker.

Most people are not good at their job.

California should break away from the US, ruled by an orange animal tyrannical leader and his dumbass red state minions, and form its own country.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FVLlszwXug

Why are all the red MAGA states so poor, hopelessly dependent, ignorant, and stupid? Coincidence?

The entire country has become poor, dependant, and ignorant. MAGA resonated for a reason. The post WW2 system is not working anymore. Especially true in big cities that vote democrat.

The Setnaffarians aren’t worried Lee will fail—they’re worried he’ll succeed where their disgraced hero Yoon fell flat.

Lee’s election proves it: the far right is losing ground—and for good reason.

Why keep voting in corrupt, incompetent right-wingers when smarter, more capable leaders on the left are ready to lead with peace, progress, and prosperity?

Just look at Trump. Electing reckless, unqualified right-wing figures doesn’t fix anything—it makes everything worse.

“The Setnaffarians aren’t worried Lee will fail—they’re worried he’ll succeed”

I want Korea to succeed.

If Lee brings that about, I have no problem with that. He is not the focus or the goal.

In the past, he has promoted concepts that would not bring success to Korea. Valid skepticism exists that he will make Korea succeed.

…though he may succeed at his stated goals.

But that would mean failure for Korea.

When Trump finally leaves office—if he leaves—the U.S. might look less like a superpower and more like a season finale of a bad reality show: disease, poverty, and economic chaos everywhere.

At that point, don’t be surprised if MAGA folks start fleeing the country like it’s a burning Walmart.

Dear South Korea: if you see American refugees in red hats knocking at your door… just say “Nope.” Let them live with the consequences of electing Trump to drive the country into the ground.

Saw some friends last week at a retirement for a flight doctor. One of the guests we knew from way back when. He was a commander at a base in the UK during covid. His wife told me she brought their young son (under age ten) to the store with her and was told she had to shop for food alone. She asked what she was supposed to do with her young child when she needed to go to the store. They said it wasn’t their problem, she wasn’t allowed to shop with any other person.
I don’t think conservatives are going to flee to Europe anytime soon.
