Everyone wants to make a deal with Kim Jong-un.

But no one wants to make a deal with Yoon. LOL!

Korea Person, that is because “deals” that involve not getting nuked make the news.

Deals that allow free trade with countries which buy a lot of your products but have little to offer don’t make the news… especially when the deals are designed to cut China out of the action…

…and shouldn’t, because it is bad manners to rub it in

Bonus: America’s global anti-Chinese industrial realignment is credited to Biden but it begin under Trump… but it is not his program either. This is Deep State looking out for selected multinationals all the way. Korea and Japan are invited in this club.

So you do admit that it was a mistake by Trump to walk away from Hanoi, that once elected he will try to rectify by making a deal with Kim Jong-un, and that it will lead to the withdrawal of the USFK from Korea.

“So you do admit that it was a mistake by Trump to walk away from Hanoi, that once elected he will try to rectify by making a deal with Kim Jong-un, and that it will lead to the withdrawal of the USFK from Korea.”

Walking away from a bad deal is generally better than no deal at all.

Trump may again try to make a deal. He may again walk away. Many politicians will accept a crappy deal and then try to spin it becasue it is harder for whiny little prìcks like you to twist the outcome as if it was a failure. But Trump knows how to make a deal.

Korea wants USFK. The American Deep State wants USFK. The military wants USFK. Even Trump wants USFK. He just wants proper compensation for the service. The most that would happen is partial withdrawl and the remaining USFK would be in line with what Korea was paying.

Bonus: Trump told some Eurofag leader he would let Russia do whatever it wanted with them. Ohhhh, the media went wild. But the reality of the statement is that part of being in NATO means certain financial commitments. Countries not meeting those commitments are not fully part of NATO and there is no real obligation for American taxpayers to stand up for them.

Can’t be in the club if you refuse to pay your membership dues.

The American Deep State wants USFK. The military wants USFK. Even Trump wants USFK.

In that case Chicken Head, you are free to take USFK back to the USA.

We Koreans will not be bullied into paying for something we don’t need in the first place.

“Korea wants USFK”

Quote the whole thing or don’t quote at all.

Anyway…

“Korea needs more babies to fill the military ranks. Hopefully multicultural conscripts will save us. But Korea doesn’t need professional soldiers at an amazing price to expose us to the latest equipment and training as we build our defense industry.”

Chinese díck is best for Chinese mouth.

Ah yes.

It doesn’t take much for Chicken Head to show his anti-Asian racism.

Korea wants USFK

Most Koreans don’t care and aren’t interested in the USFK.

Sure some extreme leftists protest against it but they’re in the minority.

So are the elderly right wingers who support the USFK and go around waving the Stars and Stripes.

The politicians, with the exception of the PPP, who needs to pander to their support base, have other things to worry about.

Saying that “Korea wants USFK” may be stretching things a bit.

I would add to what TOK wrote. Most Koreans will show the door, the next time President Trump threatens again to make USFK leave South Korea. A lot of people are fed up with Americans whining about money. They saw how Trump’s camp threatened European NATO countries by encouraging Russia to invade them if they didn’t pay up. Most Koreans know that comment also applies to South Korea too. Trump will encourage his buddy Kim Jong Un to invade South Korea if SK doesn’t pay up half of its GDP to America and go bankrupt. Money is all that Trumpians care about, and most Koreans will agree that enough is enough. South Korea doesn’t need to ally with a country that threatens to help South Korea’s enemies to attack South Korea.

“Korea wants USFK”

This doesn’t refer to Korean people, most of which don’t really know about it (now that GI crime isn’t reported at all, despite it still happening).

This also doesn’t really refer to the politicians who are given a narrow range of topics they can fight over, or pretend to fight over.

This refers to the Korean equivilant of the Deep State…

…which understands USFK’s presence brings a high degree of security at a relatively low cost, allows Korea to monitor procedures and technology for future reference, supplies a great deal of metadata about US military attitudes and priorities, and provides some important avenues of wealth transfer.

This is an incomplete list.

Korea, Japan, and China are very, very good about studying successful operations and applying the lessons. USFK still has a lot to teach.

So, even if Trump makes a show of charging a more market rate for American protection, Korea will pay it after making its own show. The final deal will be structured so both sides can claim a victory to its home audience.

ProTip: Consider how Korea and the Philippines interact with an American military presence and then ask yourself why the Philippines is perpetually poor.

The Philippines is poor because Marcos plundered the nation, you fool.

Of course, I shouldn’t expect much from poorly educated mindless Setnaffarians who delve into fake news, misinformation, and conspiracy theories.

“The Philippines is poor because Marcos plundered the nation, you fool”

That’s the kind of thing people say for 40 years to rationalize their cultural shortcomings instead of addressing them.

There are several main reasons why the Philippines is perpetually poor. Emotional baggage from 1986 shouldn’t be one of them…

…but maybe you are right.

Ok, we found yet another needless reason for the Philippines to be poor.

Good job!

Trump makes a show of charging a more market rate for American protection

If you really wanted a ‘market rate’ for the protection money, then would you really accept a ‘market rate’? Obviously what SK pays, is too much already, when it shows the USFK bank account that holds the ROK transfers, is collecting interest, with all that money unused. The ROK government has also in the recent past numerously asked for the USFK to account for where they will be spending the money on, without any success.

Hahahahahaha!

When I give your mom 20 bucks, it isn’t my business if she spends it on ketamine or premium anâl lube.

How exactly is it the ROK government’s business what America does with their money they received for an agreed upon service at an agreed upon price.

Don’t talk crazytalk.

Correction. If I gave your mom $20 bucks to go buy herself a real man, it means that I gave your mom that money to spend on just that.

“Correction. If I gave your mom $20 bucks to go buy herself a real man, it means that I gave your mom that money to spend on just that.”

So if my mom takes your 20 bill and puts it in the bank and then spends a different 20 bill on a real man, you somehow feel this is different?

I see.

They say don’t mail cash, but can I give you an address? My mom can always use another 20 bucks… and a real man.

I could use a real man too.

But better make it 25.

The things I will have him do to me cost extra in a decent society.

Korean Man.

The Setnaffarians are hoping that Trump will fleece Korea out of its hard-earned money.

But all we know is that once Trump becomes President, he will make a deal with North Korea and use it as an excuse to withdraw the USFK from Korea.

Either way, the Setnaffarians are the losers here.
