If most Mexicans really want to go to Canada—i.e., the US is just a way station—America can help them get there. Canada considers itself a “sanctuary country” under Trudeau, right? So let Trudeau have them.
But that brings up a question of fact: is the US really just a way station in the eyes of most Mexicans? Given the percentage of illegals who settle in the States, I’d say no. And if the US isn’t just a way station, then how valid is the chart? (I find it hard to believe that most Americans who want to relocate are seriously looking at Japan.)
@Kevin Kim, yes I agree that the data does seem suspect. I hardly know anyone that has said they wanted to move to Japan. Plenty of people say they want to visit Japan, but not relocate there. Most people I know who talk about relocating is to cheaper countries like Mexico or Costa Rica.
Also it makes no sense that all these illegal immigrants are flooding into the U.S. but they really want to go to Canada? The Canadian border is wide open in large areas they could get into Canada if they wanted to.

Yeah… that’s a no for me… I don’t like the Chrysanthemum Crowd enough to move there… nor do I know anyone else who thinks that…
A couple we knew from church moved to Europe, then back because of the mass importation of folks who pooped on the sidewalks and harassed women without hijabs.
In addition to the destinations GI mentioned, a few fellows I know are talking about the Philippines; but my company hired me to sit at a desk in Texas, so I am fine right where I am.
Plus, my wife likes her kitchen. Never underestimate things like that.

Hey, Texas buddies thanks y’all for making the US economy stronger, and the Russian economy weaker; as building gas pipelines from Russia to Europe, instead of the infrastructure for oil tankers, means Russia can’t replace even 10% of lost gas sales to Europe with gas sales to India and China … that rely on tankers rather than pipelines.
