Seoul Police Raid Defense Ministry Building to Search for Evidence on Fortune Teller

This is one of these only in Korea stories:

South Korean police raided the Ministry of National Defense on Wednesday as part of an investigation into a claim made by a former spokesperson for the ministry that a fortuneteller had been involved in the relocation of the presidential residence to Yongsan in central Seoul.

Investigators from the cyber bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency were sent to confiscate evidence, including vehicle entry records, to determine if the fortuneteller had visited the ministry’s premises in Yongsan in advance.

Former Defense Ministry spokesman Boo Seung-chan has claimed in a book that the fortuneteller was involved when Yoon was considering where to relocate the presidential residence and office in March last year.

Korea Herald

You can read more at the link, but it should be easy to determine if this so called fortune teller was allowed to run around the Defense Ministry building with the video and vehicle records they have there. If they don’t find any evidence this will help with the libel complaints that the Yoon administration has lodged.

Could you imagine the amount of lawsuits if the U.S. had the same libel laws as South Korea? Cable news as we know it would have to end which would probably be a good thing.

This is one of these only in Korea stories

More accurately, one of these is only for Korean conservative party leaders – what is it about them that they seek witches, magic men, Rasputin, and crooks to formulate national policies?

Banana Republic tactics.

The tactics that were used by the prosecutors to go after Lee Jae-myung could be called “Banana Republic tactics.”

I didn’t see some of the right leaning members of the ROK Drop complaining about that.

It’s obvious that GI Korea and the Setnaffarians are haunted by the possibility that Yoon will be impeached and replaced with Lee Jaemyung.

They fear that this will create a chain of events that will lead to an eventual of the USFK, their nightmare scenario.

Also it seems that GI Korea is becoming radicalized and moving away from his moderate right wing stance to the more extreme right wing stance of the Setnaffarists.

Either that he was an extreme right winger to begin with.

I don’t feel haunted by Korean politics.

The emotional weight of my vaccine envy is enough haunting.

I tell you what, the country wouldn’t be in this mess if he was in charge. What South Korea needs is someone that is strong, sticks up for South Korea, and does not get intimidated into giving everything free to supposed friendly allies that blackmail. But the way Yoon has f*cked up everything turning the clock back to the 1970s. Even the conservative youths are turning on their blacks on that drunken snake with his stupid backward 69-hour work weeks holding them up as it will give more free time to young couples – what a joke.
