Apple Pay Expected to Come to Korea in December

For people that own iPhones in Korea, Apple Pay appears to finally be on its way and Apple has Hyundai to thank for it:

Despite earlier market expectations that Apple Pay would be launched in Korea from Nov. 30, it is estimated that the starting date of the payment service in the country will be delayed to sometime around December.

Hyundai Card, which is a key partner in bringing Apple Pay to be available in Korea, remained tight-lipped about the matter, in a phone conversation with The Korea Times on Wednesday.

“As of now, we cannot confirm any matters regarding Apple Pay,” an official from Hyundai Card told The Korea Times.

The same Apple that surrendered to the CCP and threatened to remove Twitter over politics.

South Korea should do without.

Apple lost the suit outside the US but shopped around for a jury that was more friendly.

Currently 90% of Apple’s products are built in Communist China. They cannot be a friend to South Korea.

Korea had not yet learned about globalism.

In the past, Hyundai would do what Samsung did. They would make Hyundai Pay… a domestic version of foreign goods and services that keeps the profit in Korea.

But Hyundai is no longer a Korean company even through they market that they are to Koreans.

So for a sliver of the profit, they invite the foreign parasites of Apple to funnel off Korean money.

When it comes to maintaining standard of living, Korea has nothing but brain power to offer the international economy.

It doesn’t work if you don’t use it for vote making money and keeping money.

It is heartening to see setnaffa adopting and embracing the words of my compatriot, Korean Man.

OK, setnaffa and Chickenhead, what brand phones are you using? Really, tell us the truth. It’s not iPhone, by any chance?

Come on, man, at least pretend like you pay attention to my life philosophies.

Do you think for a moment I would have any toleration of the control and crippling that Apple forces on its subjects?

I am a Samsung fanboi all the way.

I have always owned Galaxy S since #2 (always buy even numbers).

I now have the S22 ultra and it is an excellent phone with few minor complaints.

Unlike most Korean software abominations, it actually seems like the programmers actually use their product.

Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple of amazingly stupid decision… but I suspect some of them are behavioral experiments rather than poor implementation of simple things made stupid.

But for the most part, the 22 Ultra does what it promises and does it well.

Apple can go get wrecked in every way. There is nothing about them to like. Their only appeal is to the lowest instincts of the emotional class.

…and iPhone owners represent all that is wrong with society.

…people who will trade freedom for dependence.

…people who will pay more for noisy-flashy crap than substance

…people who accept crippled functionality, especially if linked to imaginary safety

…simple people doing simple things

This list can go on and on.

I use my phone for a lot more beyond what normal people do… writing my own apps and interfacing with my own hardware.

Apple people are always amazed.

Because they can’t.

(Though on some things, since webserver chips are cheap, I will make an HTML interface and then a device can be accessed with even a book reader.)

Anyway, Apple sucks… and for the most part, people who own Apples suck.

The saying in Korea goes that if you are an iPhone user then you are a forward looking progressive.

If you own a Samsung then you are a backward looking, not open to new ideas right wing boomer. (The Korean term is 꼰대)

At least Chicken Head or setnaffa clarified that for us.

“The saying in Korea goes that if you are an iPhone user then you are a forward looking progressive.”

I believe it. This is how the globalists are marketing lifestyle reduction and increased control.

You are forward looking on technology if you pay a premium to be tracked and controlled and manipulated.

You are forward looking if you get minimum wage as a barista while all the taxes you pay go to Ukraine.

You are forward looking if you exchange the innocence of childhood and sexualize it with homos and trannys and assorted groomers.

You are forward looking if you sit in the dark and cold because carbon or something.

I looked forward… and don’t like what I see.

I think I will stick with what puts a man on the moon rather than chase down some new genders.

All Korea has is brain power.

Sad to see Korean people get stupid about life and their own best interests.

Keep it up and there will be two North Koreas.

Keep it up and there will be two North Koreas.

So let see.

You Setnaffarians wanted to split the United States into two but have obviously failed.

And since you have your pride and stubborness, in addition to your unhappy Russian and Chinese masters, you want to try your stuff here in Korea, where you think things are easier and hopefully split Korea into “two North Koreas”.

Got it.
