Yes, I think removing 10 guard towers is a great idea. Yes, I think removing tank traps is a great idea. Take the F-15s off alert? I’ll look into it, but on the surface it sounds like a great idea.

What’s especially noteworthy about this is that GEN Park is the first ROTC grad to become the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The ROK Military Academy has traditionally been the conservative cornerstone of the ROK military, and It would appear that Moon is trying the weaken the ROK Army’s conservative base by (purposely?) not promoting a non-Academy grad to the CJCS position – for the first time in ROK history.

ROTC grad, so he probably participated in the student demos in the 70 / 80s. Palgan jagie
