I guess we will see if there will be an upcoming North Korean missile launch, but it seems like the timing for one make no sense right now:

Analysts and security officials say they are watching for signs that North Korea may use an upcoming holiday to unveil new weapons or test fire a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), after a flurry of activity was detected at a key base.
Formations of troops have been seen practicing for what is expected to be a major military parade Oct. 10, the 75th anniversary of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea. Some observers say North Korea may showcase its largest missiles for the first time since 2018.
Meanwhile, imagery analysts and security officials caution that so far there is no conclusive evidence of an impending launch. But after several typhoons lashed North Korea in early September, satellite photos have shown a flurry of activity at the Sinpo South Shipyard, including in a secure basin where a barge used in previous underwater missile launches is docked.

This is a great idea by the Korea Military Academy:
Participants in an unveiling ceremony of a monument to commemorate U.S. Military Academy graduates killed in the 1950-53 Korean War pose for a photo at the Korea Military Academy in Seoul on Sept. 18, 2020, in this photo provided by the Army.
The Army unveiled a monument Friday to commemorate U.S. Military Academy graduates who were killed in the 1950-53 Korean War, officials said.
The monument, erected at the Korea Military Academy in Seoul, bears the names of 17 fallen officers from the West Point Class of 1948, Army officials said.
That is in addition to two monuments already set up at the Korea Military Academy campus to honor U.S. service members from the Classes of 1949 and 1950 killed in the war, officials said.
The Army plans to build four more for those from the Classes of 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1951 by 2023, and turn the area into a zone to remember the fallen U.S. soldiers.
You can tell that President Trump loves taking shots the intellectual elites in the U.S. government:
The photo, released by North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency, shows North Korean leader Kim Jong-un (front, second from L) speaking to former NBA star Dennis Rodman (front, R) while watching a friendly basketball game between North Korean players and ex-NBA players in Pyongyang on Jan. 8, 2014.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday acknowledged that he had considered sending former Chicago Bulls basketball player Dennis Rodman to North Korea to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
“He really does like Dennis Rodman, I will tell you. It’s sort of great. I always said Dennis would be better than some of these staffs that they used to send over to get to know him (Kim),” Trump said in an interview with Fox Sports Radio.
The sudden revelation came after the show’s host asked if Trump and Kim had ever talked about basketball.
Trump and Kim held three meeting between June 2018 and June 2019.
“He really did like Dennis Rodman. And they said we should maybe use him instead of somebody that graduated No. 1 at Harvard. Maybe we should use that and so I thought about that,” said Trump.
Apparently some woman in Pyeongtaek got angry at the owner of a MiniStop in Pyeongtaek for not submitting her daughter’s picture for some art contest MiniStop was holding. You can see the shop’s owner at the end of the video try to fight the woman after she is apprehended:

Just imagine how this situation would have ended if she would had tried to smash her car into a police car in the United States. The police in Pyeongtaek showed a lot of restraint by not escalating the situation. Also talk about a great commercial for the Hyundai Genesis, that car appears to be indestructible inside that MiniStop.

Buddha statue found on Mount Bukhan This photo, released by the office of Mount Bukhan National Park on Sept. 14, 2020, shows the head of a Buddha stone statue, with its body and head separated, believed to be from the early years of the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392). The office found the statue in the valley of Insu Peak on the mountain in Goyang near Seoul on Sept. 12, which it excavated after gaining permission from the Cultural Heritage Administration. This is an interesting idea for an affordable single family home in Seoul:
Thirty three square meters of land doesn’t seem big enough to build a house on. But architect and educator Choi Min-wook designed a five-story residential building for himself, his wife and their cat on a tiny plot of land in the heart of Seoul.
The couple settled there in March last year.
This year, their house won the best architecture award conferred by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. (…….)
Each of the house’s five floors were conceptualized to have a unique purpose: The first floor for parking, the second floor for reading, the third floor for cooking and dining, the fourth floor for sleeping and the fifth for bathing.
