Canuckistan scoping out the Gripen in lieu of the F-35.
My Canuckistani buddies said: You turned up 3 years after us for Dubya Dubya One. Then 25 years later you turned up 3 years after us for Dubya Dubya 2. When Putin kicks off Dubya Dubya 3 … America First means you will be second again …
Saab has offered to build an assembly line for the Gripen in Canada and to finance a full manufacturing center and a research and development facility.
This offer will reportedly create between 9,000 and 10,000 jobs over three to five years should Canada procure the Gripen

“America First means you will be second again”
Hahaha! Stupid Eurotards and their puppet lackeys.
This suggests America should involve itself immediately in every inter-Eurotard squabble.
No.
America First means wait around and see if America needs needs to get involved.
The American Deep State and the Eurotards have been pushing for dubya dubya 3 since (at least) 2014 with the Maiden coup in Ukraine which intentionally crossed many Russian red lines.
To the credit of everyone involved, they were taking the lesser choice of evils… national defaults, financial meltdowns, social revolt… or… national focus on war with any debt that cant be manipulated away getting covered by the labor and resources of the losing side.
Trump has a better way… even more spending now to position America for an economy so large that the debt is not an issue.
It might work. It would work if there wasn’t so much internal and external sabotage by those who maintain wealth and power through the current situation and those that need America involved in war.
The likely outcome is WW3 with America geographically and economically isolated… supplying at a profit, prolonging the war, and domination the rebuilding.
We already see this with some Trump programs:
– America gives no weapons to Ukraine but sells them to Europe to donate.
– America gets 50% of the profit rebuilding Ukraine
– America already controls some Ukrainian resources
– America is forcing the multinationals to move technology and production to America… though “forcing” might be the wrong word, as they know what is coming.
No. America isn’t wrong to delay getting in the middle of disputes between petty little nations until it is clear how to benefit…
…wisdom that has been lacking for a while.

For context:
The EU has paid Russia more than €311 billion for energy and goods since February 2022.
Just sayin.

The defense world is quite happy to see Canada potentially select the Gripen.
Unencumbered by advanced sensors and weapondry, as well as complicated stealth technology, the budget-friendly Gripen will bring Canada air-dominance in Sub-Saharan Africa, much of South America, and a few parts of Central Asia.
This positions Canada as a leading air power with the important responsibility of leading the attack and providing valuable reconnaissance by fire.
They will be a valuable team player in American full-spectrum warfare.
Further, this choice will reserve funds better spent on advancing multiculturalism and importing the people, values, and behaviors that have brought such success to the third world.
The clever Canadians have shown the world that they can have their cake and eat it too.

Canadian military is a woke joke.
