The current version of the KF21 is not a stealth fighter, stealth features like an internal weapon bay, are planned for later versions. And stealth is usually considered the main feature of the coveted “5th gen” designation. Block 3 (somewhere in the 2030s) should, when everything is going to plan, be “stealthy”.

HOWEVER! It’s still as good or better than anything Beijing or Pyongyang is fielding.
