Democrat Incumbent Karen Bass leads, showing about 30% of Los Angeles is composed of illegal aliens, as nobody invested in the system would reelect her.
Republican Spencer Pratt as a close number 2, ensuring he will be in the run-off.

As expected, in the LA mayor election, the Republican has fallen to 3rd place after mail-in ballots were (mostly) counted, meaning the run-off will be between two Democrats.
The same thing is happing in the Governor’s election.
In case you are wondering, the racket is:
– every registered voter gets a ballot by mail in CA
– these ballots are sent to addresses without the voter… nobody does even minor validity or compares against databases such as utilities
– ballots are collected by NGOs, partially funded by Democrats using state money, marked for the Democrat candidate, and mailed in
– any attempt to verify anything is tied up in court amid public cries of racism
Republicans cheat administratively and Democrats cheat practically. Practice mostly beats theory.

It upsets me that a lot of friends and family got tricked by big pharma and their allies in DC into taking the jab.
Numerous family members either were diagnosed with initial cancer or cancer that returned or progressed earlier than what would be typically expected within 3 years of participating in the grand experiment. I frequently worry that it will get my folks in one way or another.
The worst part is many of us that were middle aged were being pressured by our parents to do it for them. TPTB had them out here giving the hard sale to their adult children on their behalf because they were scared for their lives.

I don’t personally think that I am smarter than friends who caved. Some of them I know to be more intelligent.

I agree. Totally unfair what happened with the troops.
My employer ran the idea of mandatory shots up the flagpole and ultimately decided against it because the employees had the liberty to leave and find a new job without the baggage of something like an other than honorable discharge on record.
With the military having a large group of relatively healthy younger people and consistent documentation, the medical records from servicemembers at that time would probably be a good dataset for finding side effects from the jab.
That is if someone with power actually wanted to discover that sort of thing.

I have ingellegent friends who got the covid vaccine because it was mandatory.
They sat down and did a personal risk assessment.
The chance of side effects from the vaccine are possible but rare. The end of my professional life and retirement plans are 100%.
That is rational thinking and I can respect a thoughtful response.
Several of them had heart issues… occassional racing or pounding after both shots, especially the second, but became less frequent over the following weeks.
They are smart people so they follow the situation and have a bit of stress that there may be some reduced heart function that will become apparent in their 60s or 70s.
This is in contrast to the burger flipper, “Yeah, but I got a free t-shirt and I am Safe & Effective and you are endangering me because you just don’t understand the science.”
I hear anecdotal stories of vaccine injury, death, and continuing side-effects, and have a few of my own. But the industries that notice such things are quiet.
A few doctors talk about turbo cancer but the official word is that it doesn’t exist. There appeared to be an increase in mortality for a younger demographic that life insurance companies profit from, but the industry has not complained.
It is really hard to know what to believe.
But if you recognized it was an unnecessary medical experiment that did not require your participation, all of this speculation just becomes an amusement.

I should add that not getting the vaccine based on a rational evaluation of information that was easily avaliable to everyone at the time was an excellent decision then and has continued to be an excellent decision.
It would be easy to group it with all the other excellent decisions I have made in my life with no reason to bring up in conversation.
But I got several years of so much shìt for making this decision at the time, from self-righteous The Science Experts who suddenly don’t want to talk about it, that I will likely bring it up quite frequently for the rest of my life just to know they are squirming on the inside.
My only disappointment is that some percentage of people had heart inflamation that caused scarring which quietly reduced heart function. As they age, and experience a natural decline in heart function, there is some expectations to see earlier mortality for some percentage of the population.
The people I want to rub it into the most won’t be around to experience it.

One problem is that data is conflated for the covid jabs and covid itself. Covid has long term effects in some people (Mike got SVT from it, and a flutter pretty recently…he did not get the vaccine but his heart seems to be much more susceptible to arrhythmias now, which when you think about the fact this was a lab virus isn’t so surprising if anything we got lucky it wasn’t Captain Trips). When he went in for his back surgery and told the surgeon about his SVT the surgeon immediately responded, “was it the covid vaccine?” because the surgeon got SVT from the vaccine.

The police have issued a photo of a person of interest seen leaving the area.
He appears to be somewhat white, though everybody not black or East Asian is counted as white in crime statistics.

Our first clue is that Chicago is absolutely full of cameras yet the photo being released doesn’t really show the person’s face or race well nor does it show them carrying materials required to build a cross substantially bigger than they are.
