By the time of the signing of the Armistice by President Eisenhower, the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army (PVA) and North Korean forces had dug over 775 miles of tunnels and roughly 4,000 miles of trenches. This is known as the Great Wall of Underground Tunnels.
After viewing this transformed border on the 38th Parallel, Ike noted that America winning would require an unacceptable price of blood, toil, money and death of US troops and the US economy.
Sensibly, because he was not a gullible man, Eisenhower made the Armistice permanent, as he did not want the USA to be suckered into a forever war.
Similarly, on the thousand mile length of Iranian side of the Persian Gulf, the Iranians built the Bigly Wall of Underground Tunnels for speedboats, submarines and marine drones.
Is President Trump … like Ike?
Is America winning like bombing Cambodia back into the Stone Age?
Anyone who has Cambodian friends, acquaintances or colleagues is sceptical when they hear or read the shibboleth America winning from Beni Netanyahu.

America doesn’t bomb Iranian target to win.
America bombs Iranian targets to feel better.
The ones that make me feel better is where Israel set up rat lines. Iranians sick of government call in tips of where enforcers are lurking. The Eye in the Sky verifies this and a bomb get slotted for them.
Can we get the same thing for anti-Americans? BLM, Antifa, illegal aliens.
“Yes, I’d like to report a liberal… yes… at the Latest Black Criminal is a Hero rally… what… no… there is no collateral damage as everyone in the grid square is a primary target.”
Israel has such dominance over the skies of Iran that even Basij checkpoints are getting bombed by drones after receiving tips from local Iranians. Once the regime’s thugs in the streets are thinned out, it will be easier for clandestine operatives to organize a resistance.Right now anyone trying to protest would be jailed or shot by these thugs.
Who said anything about occupying the entire Iranian coastline? You are likely going to see key islands at the Strait of Hormuz occupied to better protect shipping. Kharg Island could possibly be occupied and with it the money the regime needs to pay their thugs to keep protesters at bay.

USFK soldier arrested after breaking Korean’s nose during an altercation at a Hongdae nightclub at 3:00 AM on 21 March 2026.
How many more USFK servicemen will employ the same stratagem to avoid shipping out to the Trumpevah War in the Persian Gulf?

Zero.

The same stories get circulated around and around for decades, as though they’ve never been repeated before. The first is that the sitting president (pick a side, it’s always the mantra) “won’t leave office after their term is over and they will instill martial law!”
The other top bromide: “Soldiers are refusing en masse to serve in the (“illegal”) war!” (insert examples that are either fabricated or taken out of context)
At least Mikey and the pop rocks was a novel attempt.
Edited to add: Let’s all reminisce on the time the Balkans campaign was voted DOWN in the House, and still went on…retroactively after the budget was passed they said the passage of the budget was de facto Congressional approval.

America’s actions so far have been against the Iranian government rather than the Iranian people… political and military targets.
The Jews bombed some oil infrastructure once but Trump either put them on a leash or it was a good cop/bad cop routine.
Now Trump is threatening electrical infrastructure, a dual-use target.
We may be seeing that “3 meals away from a revolution” theory tested.

CH, the current global crop of chinabots even include folks like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson (who both masqueraded as conservative before diving into piles of CCP money); but we are still stuck with the Temu version of the intellectually lame and blind…
I don’t even think they’re getting paid for this. Which just reinforces the idea that they’re mentally-ill from hatred of whomever is the GOP candidate du jour…
Phteven sounds like he’s in middle school but ardently follows some blue-haired, nose-ringed, garden tool on TikTok.

I mean, it’s like they see the path forward very clearly; but just don’t want to be seen with anyone outside their little quilting circle…
In business, I don’t care about my customers’ political views. Even jerks have money.
Leftists though, are so brittle they cannot be around people who disagree with them. They aren’t even willing to share the same path forward.

Nah, he already TACO’d as predicted. They’ve lost control of the war, narrative, and the stock markets, with no idea how to get out of the mess they created. The most incompetent administration in history, full stop.

Trump has written several books about his negotiation strategy yet everyone keeps responding as if they never read anything he wrote, listened to anything he said, or watched anything he accomplished.
Tell me what you mean by Trump TACO’d. Do you really think the goal was bombing power stations and he chickened out doing it? Are you an idiot?
Can you perhaps conceive of a strategy where he had a goal, such as getting Iran to start negotiating concessions, and he used a very realistic and harsh threat to accomplish this goal.
Now that the goal is accomplished, there is no need to carry out the threat. Perhaps they will give him what he wants. Perhaps they will jerk him around and he will deTACO and bomb a power station to get their attention for real… which is a zero-effort action.
Chances are, they take his threat very seriously.
Every time Trump is accused of TACO, a cursory inspection will see that he accomplished the goal, which is not the threat. And when he doesn’t accomplish the goal, he follows through with the threat.
Knocking the shìt out of Iran, twice, is Exhibit A.
Let’s move on to “losing control of the war”. The war seems so lopsided that it looks more like a live fire exercise. With real-world training and system evaluations, the American military is likely to emerge stronger and smarter… and all hostile observers less likely to fùck around for a few years.
The narrative has not changed… destroy their military, stop their missile program, and end their nuclear ambitions. Progress seems to be made on all fronts.
Thinking in terms of this week’s stock market is how little people think. Try not to let that show.
They don’t need to get out of any messes because there is no mess.
The only unfortunate part is the secondary objective: the pretty moderate Iranian people have not yet risen up and taken their country back from the Muslim extremists running it.
But that is not Trump’s fault. He is leading the horse to water but cannot make them drink…
…though some of the clever new tactics, such as rat lines for hidden government forces, bring the horse closer and closer to water.
Trump has been president for just over a year and has a long list of accomplishments… you might not like them, but they exist, so your mOsT iNcOmPeTeNt AdMiNiStRaTiOn claim sounds dumb as fùck… as they are quite competent, just not in the direction you want.
Boo hoo.
…for you.
Bonus: Your whine will be epic when Trump moves on Cuba, Columbia, Mexico, Greenland, etc… and likely some America First things we don’t see coming.

This is all becoming more clear.
The negotiations are to have Iran simply give America their enriched nuclear material rather than having to take it.
Seems like a reasonable reason to delay bombing power stations while evaluating the sincerity of negotiations.
