¹ Based on what we now know, a good speculation that fits all the current evidence is that as Pritti was fighting with police, his coat came up and one officer saw the gun. The officer can be seen taking it in the video and likely followed procedure by saying “gun”. Other officers engaged in fighting, heard the warning but did not see the situation. They rightfully opened fire immediately.
This is too bad for Pretti, but he made a long chain of bad decisions and this is the result.
No ICE officer wants to go through what they are about to go through in the media, anti-American propaganda, leftist threats, and civil lawsuits. They have always been for concealed carry for decent people upholding decent values, which mostly overlaps with the law.
They have always been against concealed carry by people with bad intentions, which also mostly overlaps with the law.
In this case, the majority of Americans feel removing illegal aliens to free up resources for Americans, open jobs for Americans in the same socioeconomic status, end illegal alien crime from a misrepresented “but just a small percent” to an uncontestable zero, etc., is a valid act.
Concealed carry by a citizen observing this is fully supported. And it would be supported if an ICE officer was in danger and a citizen assisted them with their weapon.

– Pretti is not complying with LE so they are forcing compliance and he is violently resisting (while knowingly armed).
– As I rightfully speculated, Pretty’s coat comes up and exposes his pistol, which he was fully entitled to carry until he started engaging in felony criminal behavior
– the LE in gray sees this and pulls the pistol from its holster. I speculated he followed standard procedure and informed everyone of “gun”… becasue…
– LEs start drawing weapons and backing off
– Pretti gets off the ground and reaches for his gun
– the first shot rings out just about the time his hand gets there
End of story.
Points to consider:
– Did everyone see the gun removed? I speculate the answer is no… but they sure saw him reach for one.
– Do people carry more than one gun? No speculation is necessary.

That’s not 100% true. This os what the majority of Americans voted for. And a large number want to see more of this.
Pretti was a weak man, easily manipulated through emotion and the empty promise of being a Better Person if he stood up for destructive people and against the interests of America.
He was an anti-ICE fake tough guy with his custom pistol in a trendy color scheme.

But Good and Pretti made a series of intentional decision which included escalation at each step.
Nobody entered these situations expecting the results but they happened. That is unfortunate for everyone but very understandable.
Be very clear why this happened and may happen again, though that depends on the behavior of protesters not crossing the line into combatants.
Accept that ICE is going to remove criminal illegal aliens. This will happen and it is non-negotiable. You may peacefully protest this. If you engage in illegal interference, you will be prosecuted. If you engage in violence you will be met with equal or greater violence. If you are perceived as a threat, you will be treated as a threat.
You may show up on the sidelines and heckle ICE as they do their jobs but be very, very aware of how your behavior will be perceived by men constantly threatened, occasionally attacked, and hearing the constant calls of violence against them and their families by anti-Americans.

Pretti was standing in the road illegally obstructing a legal ICE operation. That is grounds for being arrested and prosecuted. ICE officer was nice enough to shove him off the road instead of arrest and have him face charges. A normal person at this point would have walked away. Instead he continued to obstruct and got pepper sprayed for his efforts instead of arrested. A normal person would have decided to quit being a problem to wash out their eyes at this point. Instead he wrestled with the officer which is like throwing a rock at a bees nest. They all rush over and start trying to detain him. At this point it would be wise to stop resisting when carrying a gun, but as established above he was a special kind of dumb. So now there’s a confusing mass of limbs in a giant pile and one officer sees a gun and shouts ‘gun’. Remember in a hectic situation communication is hard. The other officers now realize they’re in a situation where someone is illegally and violently resisting arrest and is armed with deadly force. What’s your decision officer? It turns out that deploying ICE agents is:
– 100% legal
– 100% in America’s long-term interests
– 100% beneficial to American citizens who replace the illegal aliens
– 100% in agreement with a campaign promise that Trump made which got him elected
So, to answer your first question, nobody will be held “accountable” became there is nothing to be held accountable for. A better word is “credited”.
As for “running amok”:
– engaged in legal law enforcement activity
– correctly using established law enforcement tactics
– defining a clear and lawful target
– selectively focusing on that target
So, to answer your second question, they are not “running amok”. They are doing a defined job in a defined way for a defined reason that has been approved by the majority of American citizens.

It is easy and lazy to blame ICE for an execution when they shoot someone who brought threats and violence to them…

Peaceful protesting is American. Carrying a gun is American. Peaceful protest while carrying a gun is menacing, but still American.
Violent protest while carrying a gun is asking for trouble.
And Pritti asked for trouble when he demonstrated that he was willing to be violent. That escalated when it became clear he was armed.
So far, everyone shot has put themselves in the situation and escalated far past the the hundreds of other protesters.
ICE is not to blame.
¹ Based on what we now know, a good speculation that fits all the current evidence is that as Pritti was fighting with police, his coat came up and one officer saw the gun. The officer can be seen taking it in the video and likely followed procedure by saying “gun”. Other officers engaged in fighting, heard the warning but did not see the situation. They rightfully opened fire immediately.
This is too bad for Pretti, but he made a long chain of bad decisions and this is the result.
No ICE officer wants to go through what they are about to go through in the media, anti-American propaganda, leftist threats, and civil lawsuits. But in the heat of the moment, they don’t want to be shot by a violent and non-cooperative representative of those who have been threatening and attacking them.

They have always been for concealed carry for decent people upholding decent values, which mostly overlaps with the law.

In this case, the majority of Americans feel removing illegal aliens to free up resources for Americans, open jobs for Americans in the same socioeconomic status, end illegal alien crime from a misrepresented “but just a small percent” to an uncontestable zero, etc., is a valid act.
Concealed carry by a citizen observing this is fully supported. And it would be supported if an ICE officer was in danger and a citizen assisted them with their weapon.

– Pretti is not complying with LE so they are forcing compliance and he is violently resisting (while knowingly armed).
– As I rightfully speculated, Pretty’s coat comes up and exposes his pistol, which he was fully entitled to carry until he started engaging in felony criminal behavior
– the LE in gray sees this and pulls the pistol from its holster. I speculated he followed standard procedure and informed everyone of “gun”… becasue…
– LEs start drawing weapons and backing off
– Pretti gets off the ground and reaches for his gun
– the first shot rings out just about the time his hand gets there
End of story.
Points to consider:
– Did everyone see the gun removed? I speculate the answer is no… but they sure saw him reach for one.
– Do people carry more than one gun? No speculation is necessary.
So we have yet another bad life decision by Pretti… fighting cops and making a movement like reaching for a gun.

“It is unfortunate that foreign and domestic institutions which gain power and profit from harming America have manipulated large number of well-meaning people to put themselves in danger to further their anti-American goals.
Americans have the absolute right to protest but they don’t have the right to interfere with law enforcement and they don’t have the right to affect fellow Americans with such actions as blocking access to public roads.
And when they engage in any form of violence or menacing behavior, they cease to be a protester and become a criminal combatant risking violence to be returned to them.
Good and Pretti didn’t start their day expecting to be shot and no ICE agent started their day wishing for the life-changing hassle they face after a shooting.
But Good and Pretti made a series of intentional decision which included escalation at each step.
Nobody entered these situations expecting the results but they happened. That is unfortunate for everyone but very understandable.
Be very clear why this happened and may happen again, though that depends on the behavior of protesters not crossing the line into combatants.
Accept that ICE is going to remove criminal illegal aliens. This will happen and it is non-negotiable. You may peacefully protest this. If you engage in illegal interference, you will be prosecuted. If you engage in violence you will be met with equal or greater violence. If you are perceived as a threat, you will be treated as a threat.
You may show up on the sidelines and heckle ICE as they do their jobs but be very, very aware of how your behavior will be perceived by men constantly threatened, occasionally attacked, and hearing the constant calls of violence against them and their families by anti-Americans.

Pretti was standing in the road illegally obstructing a legal ICE operation. That is grounds for being arrested and prosecuted. ICE officer was nice enough to shove him off the road instead of arrest and have him face charges. A normal person at this point would have walked away. Instead he continued to obstruct and got pepper sprayed for his efforts instead of arrested. A normal person would have decided to quit being a problem to wash out their eyes at this point. Instead he wrestled with the officer which is like throwing a rock at a bees nest. They all rush over and start trying to detain him. At this point it would be wise to stop resisting when carrying a gun, but as established above he was a special kind of dumb. So now there’s a confusing mass of limbs in a giant pile and one officer sees a gun and shouts ‘gun’. Remember in a hectic situation communication is hard. The other officers now realize they’re in a situation where someone is illegally and violently resisting arrest and is armed with deadly force. What’s your decision officer? It turns out that deploying ICE agents is:
– 100% legal
– 100% in America’s long-term interests

So, to answer your first question, nobody will be held “accountable” became there is nothing to be held accountable for. A better word is “credited”.
As for “running amok”:

– defining a clear and lawful target
– selectively focusing on that target
So, to answer your second question, they are not “running amok”. They are doing a defined job in a defined way for a defined reason that has been approved by the majority of American citizens.
