Japan and South Korea can survive without the CCP. Let’s go!

I disagree.
Japan and South Korea (and America and the world) need China more than ever.
China cannot be abandoned or ignored, as they are now highly needed to support global prosperity and quality of life.
But China can be managed to extract maximum value while minimizing their influence and control.
Trump’s management of this situation is to reshore industry and develop America-only supply chains while resurrecting the Monroe Doctrine to keep China out of South America.
Korea’s management is to move factories to SE Asia and India and target those markets directly as they are increasingly losing market share in China to increasingly excellent products (e.g. cars and cellphones).
Europe’s management is to say something loud about war and environment but keep buying Russian energy and Chinese products made with electricity from an increasing number of coal power plants as they deindustrialize every industry except war.
As soon as Taiwan’s manufacturing capabilities can be duplicated in America, it will be time to firebomb the ASML machines at TSMC and let China have it.
Then we can huff and puff about sanctions on China and sanctions on anybody who deals with China.
Problem managed.
Then we figure out how to manage the new problems that creates.

You have a point, CH; but I’d rather China and Russia kept fighting land wars in Asia.

“You have a point, CH; but I’d rather China and Russia kept fighting land wars in Asia.”
Russia is fighting a land war in Europe… and winning.
China IS the land war in Asia.
Bonus: War as we know it is coming to an end.
There is no penalty fighting a land war in Asia when the sky is saturated with your AI drones attacking anything that shows itself.

CH, Russia and China both are fighting land wars internally… And you don’t win wars with drones against the people you had planned to draft into your infantry…
