I hope all of us had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day; and are refreshed and ready to be a blessing to those God placed around us.

If not? Please pray God will heal you and grant you peace and gratitude and repentance.

Thought of the Day:

The Afghan terrorist who shot two national guard members in Washington DC has had a couple of lowest-level jobs for short times but has generally been unemployed since his arrival in 2021.

Yet he lives in a $2000/month apartment with a wife and 5 kids.

This means YOU have been paying for it all.

If you accept this, you don’t deserve to have nice things.

Eventually, everyone must accept that those who are incompatible with western values and those who cannot take care of themselves must be returned to sender.

Per the Afghan terrorist, my best (USAF spouse) friend during our assignment to Osan works for an NGO that supports illegals (in the DC area, specifically). Her spouse was slated to be a pilot but got ill with some crud in Asia and the flight doc put him on a medication that disqualified him from being a military aviator for life, at the time (he did not know this at the time, and the flight doc looked younger than I…and was 22-23 then). At any rate, he went into intel and was pretty high up by the time he retired, with a lot of psyop experience he went to work for Google and they lived in California.
I was naive enough then to think it was odd Google would employ a retired military intel guy.
Her FB feed is very anti-Trump. Her youngest son is autistic, middle child son is on the spectrum.

Our oldest son is in the final year of his miltiary commitment. He is a civil engineer and lives at the location of his original assignment. He had a pilot slot, but decided not to go to pilot training and went the CE route instead. They have community ties they’ve made and his wife has a job she loves. She’s involved with several local clubs, and a choir. They plan on staying there after his assignment ends, if feasible.
Just thought about where we were when Mike was 3.4 years in…we were in the ROK. It was our forth move and by the time we left we’d moved five times in four years.
I’m thankful our son isn’t doing that. Good choice to drop pilot training.

Anybody who would support parasitic illegals over the many Americans in need…

…displays many questionable aspects of their ethical and cognative frameworks.

These people begin to look more and more like an existential threat to America and Americans.

It’s time again to remind ourselves of the Articles of Setnaffarism™.

Article 1
The only truth is the world that exists only in the world of Setnaffarism™. Everything else is not true, and should not be believed.

Article 2
Should others present facts that do not fit with the world that exists only in the world of Setnaffarism™ fight vigorously against it.

For if the others look over the facts and find them to be true, it will show that the world that exists only in in the world of Setnaffarism™ is not true and that the ideals of Setnaffarism™ are a sham.

If necessary, call those who present the facts, “Communists” and “leftists”, if this helps to discredit them.

Article 3
The use of sockpuppets to inflate numbers is the key to our winning strategy.

It is imperative that sockpuppets be created in order to give the illusion that the opposition is outnumbered and being attacked from all sides.

Mixture of mentally deranged and mentally normal sockpuppets for balance and variety is recommended.

Article 4
It is imperative that the USFK stay in South Korea forever.

Oppose any efforts by the “leftists” to reduce the personnel and assets of the USFK even if those personnel and assets are not needed.

Support the Korean right wing and make every efforts to increase the personnel and assets of the USFK regardless of whether they are needed or not.

Article 5
It does not matter whether the Korean right are inept and corrupt, as long as they support keeping the USFK in Korea, forever.

Give them your full support and look the other way when allegations of incompetence and corruption come against them.

However, when it comes to “leftists” do your utmost to criticize and discredit them, since they do not support keeping the USFK in Korea forever.

Article 6
The true leader of the Americans are Xi Ji Ping and Vladimir Putin.

They will herald a new era for us by turning America into the perfect world for us.

Do what is needed to support them, even if it means committing high treason against the United States

Article 7
Invoke God whenever you can.

Ask for and receive his forgiveness, so that you may sin again.
After sinning, make sure to ask for and receive his forgiveness again.

GI, there are those who say it was weakness caused by early Islamic pirates from the south and “affluenza” from the Romans themselves that led the Romans in Italy to hire Germanic tribes to defend them. And it was those Germanic tibes who saw the immense wealth of Rome and did the calculating that conquest paid more than being mercenaries.

When I see the USA hiring foreign mercenary soldiers, I remember the fourth verse of The Star-Spangled Banner and wonder if even Americans understand.

Then I remember the other threats and think how easily we fall for simple misdirection.

South Korea has similar issues, with barbarians to the north and CCP-controlled pirates trying to destroy the maritime environment to west, south, and east.

, you are right and your conclusion is just; but the pirates from North Africa did heavily disrupt trade with Byzantium and other points east and west. Alaric and several others generally only replaced the management of Rome and even copied the culture, architecture, and philosophies of the Romans. The city basically assimilated the conquerors, much like China did. The “Roman Empire” lasted until the fall of Byzantium in 1453.

“Raymond Ibrahim’s Sword and Scimitar is a much-needed history of landmark battles between Islam and the West, . . . [a] first-rate military history and a product of solid scholarship and philological research.”―from the Foreword by Victor Davis Hanson, Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution

Some of the events mentioned in Wikipedia:

846 raid on Rome: Muslim raiders sacked the basilicas of Old St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s-Outside-the-Walls but were repelled by the Aurelian Walls.

Southern Italy: Muslim forces had established a presence in southern Italy, with cities like Amantea, Taranto, and Bari being captured and occupied at various times.

Naval Battle of Ostia (849): A Muslim fleet was destroyed by a papal fleet, halting further major advances on the Italian peninsula.

I’ve read of 7th Century depredations but can’t find a link just now.

Where is MD Anderson Cancer Center?

Research has recently highlighted a significant, unexpected link between mRNA vaccines (particularly the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines) and the stimulation of Type I interferon (IFN) production, which appears to play a crucial role in improving outcomes for certain cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy.

Here is a summary of the findings regarding the mRNA vaccine effect on interferon production and cancer outcomes:

1. The Role of Type I Interferon (IFN)
Mechanism of Action:

mRNA vaccines induce a potent innate immune response, which includes the production of Type I Interferons (IFNs).

Immune Wake-Up: The researchers suggest that this surge in Type I IFNs acts as a powerful immune stimulant or “flare,” which essentially wakes up the adaptive immune system and sensitizes tumors to treatment.

Preclinical Findings: In preclinical models, SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination induced a marked increase in Type I IFN, which stimulated antigen-presenting cells to activate CD8 T cells targeting multiple tumor antigens.

2. Improving Cancer Patient Outcomes

The observed improvement in outcomes is primarily seen when the mRNA vaccine is administered close to the start of immunotherapy, specifically Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICIs).

Sensitization to Immunotherapy: Research indicates that the mRNA vaccine’s potent immune stimulation can sensitize “cold” tumors (tumors that do not typically elicit a strong immune response) to ICIs, making the established cancer drug more effective.

Survival Benefit: An observational study found that patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or metastatic melanoma who received an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine within 100 days of starting ICI treatment showed a substantial improvement in survival:

NSCLC Patients: Median overall survival nearly doubled, increasing from 20.6 months in the unvaccinated group to 37.3 months in the vaccinated group.

Melanoma Patients: A similar benefit was observed, with median survival increasing from 26.7 months to a range of 30 to 40 months.

Three-Year Survival: Vaccinated lung cancer patients were nearly twice as likely to be alive three years after starting treatment (55.8% survival) compared to unvaccinated patients (30.6% survival).

 Study Authors/Institutions:

Led by researchers including Adam Grippin, M.D., Ph.D. (MD Anderson Cancer Center) and Elias Sayour, M.D., Ph.D. (University of Florida).

And again for the skim readers

NSCLC Survival: Median OS nearly doubled from 20.6 months (unvaccinated) to 37.3 months (vaccinated within 100 days of ICI).
3-Year Survival (NSCLC): Increased from 30.8% to 55.7%.

Mechanism: Preclinical models confirmed the spike mRNA-lipid nanoparticles induced Type I interferon-dependent priming of tumor-reactive CD8+ T cells and synergy with ICI.

Future Direction: The findings have prompted the preparation of a Phase III randomized clinical trial to formally validate these results and determine if mRNA vaccination should become part of the standard of care for ICI therapy

Korea Thing is either intentionally misrepresenting science to support his political fetish of forced medical experimentation or he is, more likely, stupidly repeating the propaganda of those who do.

This study was observational and not RTC experimental.

Simply put, this study is professional and interesting because it shows a possible direction where real researchnshould look… but there was no accounting for variables that can completely misrepresent the results… so it is meaningless (and foolish) to claim any conclusion.

As many such observational studies have shown before, factors such as heathier people getting the covid vaccine while sicker people did not shows up as healthier people having better outcomes than sicker people rather than covid vaccines curing every ailment it gets associated with.

This is currently being noisily pushed as proof the covid vaccine is a snake oil grade cure-all to deflect from recent revelations that the childhood death rate for covid is ZERO but covid vaccine side effects killed at least 10 children¹ in well-documented cases.

Lesson: Dont buy into pop science pushed by those with an agenda.

¹MORE children should take the covid vaccine and stay current on their boosters. Parents who cannot complete a basic risk assessment do not need to reproduce. Species-improving evolution works in small steps.

Korea Thing is either intentionally misrepresenting science

Let’s see.

That’s another Article 2 along with an Article 1.

In addition I see an attempt to project Article 3.

Let’s all remember that as per definition anyone who tries to project can be considered as a “chinabot.”

This more or less proves that the Setnaffarians are pro-China and receiving financial support from China.

One Korea Thing keeps citing some kind of nonsensical rule list that literally nobody here read or will read.

Another Korea Thing has revolutionized oncology with the exciting new knowledge that all cancer, patients, and treatments are exactly the same. We are not far from a cure now!

This will likely be in heavy competition for this year’s Nobel prize in medicine with the cure for AIDS being “just unsuck a dìck.”

A 180 were challenged by Dr Grippin to live

A line that he drew with his syringe when the battle was nigh

“The men who would fight to live cross over

But him that would die better fly”

And over his line went 179

Hi! Up! Texas, we’re savin’ your airforce below

So the rest of Texas will know

And remember the MD Anderson Cancer Center!

A nurse sent to the wards, strong and loud

With words of hope in the letters she carried were proud

“Rejoice, little darlin’, my Texan child

If Texas is sovereign and free

I’ll give y’all the mRNA vaccine,

and you’ll be cancer free!”

Frankly, I’ve never seen a disclaimer that long filled with so many disclaiming conflicts of interest as far as I can recall.
It is also worth noting that this study of mRNA efficacy is exclusive to patients undergoing the relatively niche type of cancer treatment. Whereas the US population at large shows a cancer excess mortality rate for ages 0-54 at 44.2% elevated versus historic trend since the mass distribution of the mRNA vaccines.

Speaking of covid, a little follow-up on:

2019: Myocarditis is a medical emergency and you should seek immediate medical assistance.

2021: Myocarditis is not a side effect of covid vaccines. It happens, but it is exceedingly rare. It is somewhat common but it is almost always mild and resolves on its own.

2025: Between 50 to 60% of young men who experienced myocarditis from the covid vaccine show permanent heart scarring and reduced heart function in an MRI. This increases the risk of adverse cardiac events as the heart muscle ages. But but but overall, the covid vaccine saved more lives.

The covid vaccine was The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male for white liberals.

You don’t need a physical supercomputer to run AI/LLMs, especially if all that is needed is to spit out right wing fake news and misinformation.

As admitted he is using the cloud to run his AI/LLM bots.

However he does need physical computers to access those individual cloud based bots and for them to post stuff here under different email and IP addresses, as such the nine or so laptops in his laptop farm.

Those are very expensive to maintain which is where the Chinese and Russian funding comes in.

And since the Chinese are more technical adept than you ignorant right wing hillbillies and Russians combined, maybe they threw in their LLM model for to use, which explains why the Setnaffarian bots here seem to be more articulate lately.

The effect of shingles vaccination at different stages of the dementia disease course
Min Xie ∙ Markus Eyting ∙ Christian Bommer ∙ Haroon Ahmed∙ Pascal Geldsetzer

Herpes zoster vaccination reduced dementia diagnosis in our prior natural experiments

Here, we find a lower occurrence of MCI and dementia deaths among dementia patients

Herpes zoster vaccination appears to act along the entire clinical course of dementia

This study’s approach avoids the common confounding concerns of observational data

Summary
Using natural experiments, we have previously reported that live-attenuated herpes zoster (HZ) vaccination appears to have prevented or delayed dementia diagnoses in both Wales and Australia.

Here, we find that HZ vaccination also reduces mild cognitive impairment diagnoses and, among patients living with dementia, deaths due to dementia.

Exploratory analyses suggest that the effects are not driven by a specific dementia type.

Our approach takes advantage of the fact that individuals who had their eightieth birthday just after the start date of the HZ vaccination program in Wales were eligible for the vaccine for 1 year, whereas those who had their eightieth birthday just before were ineligible and remained ineligible for life.

The key strength of our natural experiments is that these comparison groups should be similar in all characteristics except for a minute difference in age.

Our findings suggest that live-attenuated HZ vaccination prevents or delays mild cognitive impairment and dementia and slows the disease course among those already living with dementia.
