National Assembly Passes Bill to Launch Investigations Against Former President Yoon

I hope Yoon Suk-yeol has some good lawyers because the Korean left will not be satisfied until him and his wife are thrown into jail:

The ruling Democratic Party of Korea-controlled National Assembly on Thursday passed contentious bills mandating special counsel probes into charges and scandals surrounding former President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, Kim Keon Hee.

Three probe bills reintroduced by the Democratic Party were approved during a parliamentary plenary vote held in the afternoon. One pushes to launch a permanent special counsel to investigate 11 charges tied to Yoon’s failed martial bid in December; another seeks to mainly investigate Kim’s alleged inappropriate interference in the People Power Party’s candidate nomination process in previous general and by-elections as well as her luxury bag scandal; the third looks into the allegations that the Yoon administration interfered in the military’s investigation into a young Marine’s death in 2023.

All three bills were passed in a 194-3 vote with one abstention, in a package deal.

Korean left will not be satisfied until him and his wife are thrown into jail

So they don’t deserve to be jailed? After trying to demolish democracy and dissolve the National Assembly, and plotting a military takeover?

According to my regression analysis, we only have to wait 5.3 years to see the current president in jail.

Patience, grasshoppers.

That’s funny, CH. But not as funny as what’s happening with the hilariously funny but very revealing online barbs between Trump and Musk right now. What’s happening to the Maggot movement?

Ha! Did you not see the Trump/Musk fallout coming?

They are both driven, accomplished men and they have slightly different goals.

Reconciliation is quite easy.

Their goals simply have to be aligned by an external party.

Structurally, Musk could never get a hookup from Trump, as it would look like cronyism.

And, despite all the cuts in the Big Beautiful Bill, it actually costs more money due to massive tax cuts, which annoyed Musk on a deep level.

Trumpanomics believe that cutting taxes will stimulate the economy through investment, domestic production, and consumerism. This will increase tax income through volume.

History shows failed presidencies (which is statistically this one +/-) fail because problems are addressed using the successful policies of past presidents… and they don’t work. Think Carter echoing FDR… or maybe Trump echoing Reagan’s trickle down economics.

Anybody voicing a firm prediction about how this will all work out is just talking out their àss.

Trump is resiliant and adaptable, so he has no problem to dump a policy that isn’t working rather than sticking with it and defending a losing strategy.

One thing of note…

Military spending is increased in support of the Peace through Strength policy. As the EU goes to war with Russia in a very deliberate act, likely to avoid complete financial collapse, and America pivots to Asia to contain China, and the Jews are set up to genocide the Palistinians and then get tangled up with Iran, a strong American military with more guns than trannys is the way forward.

The media focuses on the gossip but ignores the underlying issues which drives it.

Get the popcorn.
