Many DPK Members Defect and Vote in Favor of Arrest Motion for Opposition Leader

This further explains why Lee Jae-myung went on his so called hunger strike so he could be hospitalized because he likely knew many members of his own DPK political party, who are in the majority in the National Assembly, would defect to vote in favor of the motion to allow a vote on his arrest:

The National Assembly on Thursday passed a motion seeking parliamentary consent to the potential arrest of opposition leader Lee Jae-myung, a surprise result that shows a number of dissenting votes from Lee’s own Democratic Party (DP).

With the motion’s passage in a 149-136 vote, a court hearing will be held to determine whether to grant the prosecution’s request for an arrest warrant for Lee on corruption charges in connection with a land development project and a company’s illegal cash remittance to North Korea.

But it is unclear whether Lee will show up for the hearing, considering he has been on a hunger strike since Aug. 31 to protest President Yoon Suk Yeol’s handling of state affairs and was hospitalized earlier this week due to deteriorating health.

The motion needed at least 148 votes in favor to pass. Given that Lee’s DP has 168 lawmakers in the 298-member National Assembly, the result suggests that dozens of DP lawmakers voted in favor of the potential arrest of their party leader.

You can read more at the link, but his hospitalization is last move to seek sympathy from members of the DPK to not vote for his potential arrest.

There is no rest when it comes to bringing attention to the corruption of globalist tools helping to destroy Korea by limiting small Korean-owned business and encouraging opportunistic foreign multinationals.

Ah, so ChickenHead/setnaffa, you think Yoon should be arrested.

Gotcha.

@Korean Man.

GI Korea is gunning for this guy.

He’s going to keep it up and if Lee Jaemyung does go to prison then probably gloat about the “corrupt Korean left.”

At the same time, the Korean right will get a pass from GI Korea, even if there is corruption among the Korean right.

For the record, I suspect there is just as much corruption/opportunism on the right as on the left.

So, when I get accused of gunning for this guy, it is because he has openly stated he wants to use government to limit the economic freedom of Korean citizens in a way that does not affect competing large companies and multinationals.

The Moon juanta did this already.

During covid, coffee shops had all sorts of needless restrictions that were deadly to small business but had little effect on multinational chains with an advertizing and delivery infrastructure in place. There were even government programs to move out-of-business coffee shop owners to become workers at the chains. Taxpayers funded this “training” while the chains pushed for extending lockdowns.

My favorite 24 hour rice & soup place was forced to close at 9pm yet the nearby e-mart could remain full of people until 11pm.

The rules on nighttime entertainment catering to the lowest risk demographic (with ZERO deaths) were different than daytime big business such as department stores… as if the virus had different properties at night.

The Korean left, the anti-Korean globalists, and the corporatists worked together to destroy the small business class in a conspiracy of shared values… as the left would prefer more dependence, the globalists gain their power from everything associated with a smaller middle class, and corporatists dislike competition.

So, when I take a giant dump on the Korean left and it’s tools and agents, it is not becasue of USFK or dictatorships ot “the right”.

It is becasue I want to see prosperity among those who work for it… which leads to increased national prosparity when there is encouragement rather than artifical restrictions.

I am going to guess most people here are more interested in real issues such as the prosperity of themselves, their Korwan wives, the Korean side of their family, and the society in which we all live, more than any of the manufactured conceptual issues our resident scolds go on about that have little effect on life.

But keep scolding, Scolds.

Your superpower is turning your own stupidity into a lauchpad to publicize the opposite way of thinking.

So, when I get accused of gunning for this guy,

When ChickenHead once mentioned that all the right wing commentators here were sockpuppets of GI Korea, I thought it was a joke.

GI Korea resorting to sockpuppeteering?

Ridiculous and didn’t make sense, so I didn’t give CH’s comment any thought.

Now in the heat of the moment, it seems that GI Korea made a slipup and admitted that CH is his sockpuppet?

Interesting.

That means, if true, GI Korea is resorting to sockpuppeteering to shore up his dying blog.

I am not a sockpuppet if I act independently when our meds wear off.
