K-Pop Comes to the Rescue of Troubled Scout Jamboree in South Korea

This is another example of how Koreans can rally in crisis to protect the country’s image. Can you imagine Taylor Swift or other American pop idols at the last minute coming together to do a short notice concert for Scouts in order to protect America’s image?:

About 40,000 participants of the 2023 World Scout Jamboree gathered in Seoul on Friday for a K-pop concert, wrapping up the world event plagued by a heat wave and a typhoon with a glitzy entertainment show.

The “K-pop super live” concert took place at Seoul World Cup Stadium in western Seoul following a closing ceremony to look back on highlights of their 12 turbulent days in South Korea and hand over the Scout flag to a representative from Poland, the host country for the 2027 jamboree.

Girl group NewJeans took the stage with “ETA” from its recently released album and the global hit “Hype Boy,” and 18 other K-pop artists performed at the show, including IVE, NCT Dream, ITZY, Mamamoo, The Boyz, Kang Daniel and fromis_9.

Also on the stage were Shownu X Hyungwon, Zerobaseone, Kwon Eun-bi, Jo Yuri, P1Harmony, KARD, The New Six and ATBO.

Korean culture is still very strong, in spite of globalist and communist efforts.

Glad to see that

“Poland, the host country for the 2027 jamboree”

I see the scouts don’t really pay attention to current events.

Hint: Poland is going to FAaFO… then get all butthurt when NATO doesn’t evoke Article 5 because they don’t really want a world war they aren’t prepared to fight against an enemy they might not be able to beat.

But NATO will be happy to promise lots of weapons, coming soon, as long as it is Polish men who are dying.

Why Poland needs NATO weapons, when they already have thousands of Korean K2 Tanks, missiles, self-prop guns, fighter jets, and pretty soon submarines? Poland doesn’t need to depend on NATO weapons that EU is incapable to make, when South Korea provides Poland with all the weapons they need to become the most powerful military in Western Europe.

“Why Poland needs NATO weapons, when they already have thousands of Korean… blah blah blah”

Because we have seen Ukraine burn through three entire militaries… the one crafted since 2014, the one of former soviet equipment, and now the one of dumbed-down and outdated western equipment.

Korean military equipment is likely better than all of these and Poland will presumably use better tactics, but they could be fighting a Russia with a few years of refined combat experience and a ramped up production of quality, battle-tested weapons.

With that in mind, Poland may lose a disproportionate number of their Korean equipment early on.

So free NATO (American) equipment would be gladly accepted.

Hopefully, Korea doesn’t play politics and keeps a policy of “anybody can buy, everybody must pay”.

I’m afraid that’s a bit of a generalization.

This being a small country with the entertainment companies all being located in the same city as the President and the top-down nature of this society, when the Presidential office calls, it is very difficult for the CEOs of the entertainment companies to say “No” to the request for their singers to perform in the K-pop concert.

Lest they face things like further investigation into their taxes and other shit that the Korean bureacracy can throw their way so that the bureacrats can please the big boss.

Unless of course they have huge enough clout to get away with saying “No.”

Wonder what hoops they had to go through to change the scheduling of their singers so they could perform in that concert.
