Mysterious Packages Cause Political Opposition to Claim Terrorist Attack on South Korea

This is a scam, but the Yoon administration is being accused by their critics of not responding forcefully enough to a terrorist attack:

Concerns about possible terrorist acts using chemicals continued over the weekend amid an investigation into suspicious international packages delivered to hundreds of seemingly unrelated Korean addresses.

In a message to the public, police warned against opening the parcels labeled with “CHUNGHWA POST,” as they could contain toxic materials. So far, more than 640 such packages sent via Taiwan were confirmed to have been delivered to addresses across the nation including Jeju Island since Thursday. Police said all of them are now under scrutiny.

An X-ray scan raised an alarm early Sunday over a potentially harmful gas inside a package delivered to a home in Cheonan, North Chungcheong Province. But after an additional inspection, police later said they found no such gas.

The mysterious parcels have stoked fear and confusion since last Thursday when three staffers at a care center for the disabled in Ulsan said they experienced dizziness and difficulty breathing after opening one. The Agency for Defense Development, a government agency for research and development in defense technology, later concluded that there was nothing unusual in the box.

The packages were sent to Korea via Taiwan with consumer products such as mascara in them:

Some security experts have raised the possibility that scammers may be behind the mystery, such as a “brushing scam” which refers to online retailers sending unsolicited goods to random people as a means of generating positive reviews or boosting their online presence.

Why didn’t they send me a package?

You never know when a dose of terrorist-grade toxic chemical might come in handy.

And it already comes with a delivery system if you can be bothered to print a new label.

Some people have all the luck.

My God, a terrorist attack! Yoon should declare a state of emergency and place all opposition party members into protective custody, you know, for their safety. Such a terrible emergency, naturally, requires indefinite suspension of the constitution and the National Assembly. Martial law must be implemented.

Traces of mascara? Clearly a radical feminist cell. Time to shut down all gender studies courses in the nation, root out all women from upper education, and restore patriarchy. It’ll even have the benefit of restoring birth rates.

Remember, the little Korea-hating traitors who scold Yoon for not Doing Something (that is destructive to Korea)…

…are the same ones who cheered as Moon made needless restrictions that destroyed Korean small business but was only a temporary inconvenience for big business and the multinationals.

If you want to know what the left is doing, just look at what they are accusing the right of doing… racism, fascism, promoting the rich, restrictions on basic freedom, etc.

My only firm opinions on Yoon is he went from Moon’s “the unvaccinated can’t buy food and unvaccinated kids can’t be educated” policy to “all restrictions are over” in a matter of weeks… and nothing bad happened… as we knew was the case in 2020 when the globalists started to needlessly destroy the Korean middle class through Moon.

In most cases such as this, the government doing nothing is the best policy. Most crises pass in weeks as society adapts. Government mismanagement goes on for years…

…or decades.

Korea never had anti-trafficking laws, and what little was on paper was never really enforced. That State Department only started making a fuss about human trafficking in South Korea when Yoon was in power merely points to him pissing off State. State always plays these games where they’ll turn a blind eye to what other countries are doing so long as a friendly leftist is in power, but pulls out the laundry list when upset the election didn’t go their way. In contrast, Moon was beloved by the communists of Harvard State Department.

Does State Department hate Yoon for his Covid policy? I think it’s more than likely.

That’s a big bald lie. No one was prevented from buying food and feeding themselves if they weren’t unvaccinated. And by the way, most Koreans like 99% of them, volunteered to get vaccinated. The only ones who refused to, were the stupid superstitious Christian evangelical protestant rightwing backward bigots and their followers.

In a way, you are right. You could still buy food. Not the good stuff from a real supermarket but you could still shop at the little places with 6 row, one of which was candy, one was cookies and crackers, one was packaged processed curry and black noodles, one was 50 types of raman, etc.

Then again, those are not food. Those are “food-like products.”

A good policy when dealing with communists, is to remember their history. When they start manipulating the food supply, it is NEVER for the good of society, and it is always just the beginning.

The Dutch and the Irish are the next to learn this lesson.
