Picture of the Day: Jeju Uprising Anniversary

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo (4th from L) and other participants pay silent tribute to the victims of the Jeju April 3 uprising during a ceremony to mark the incident’s 75th anniversary at the Peace Park on the southern island of Jeju, 465 kilometers south of Seoul, on April 3, 2023. The incident refers to a series of pro-communist uprisings and a counterinsurgency that occurred between 1948 and 1954 on the island, which resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent citizens. shameful commie celebration.
They don’t often seem to mourn the deaths of those brave men and women who died in the service of South Korea to give them the right to be asshats.
I sure see “communism” and things like “deaths of tens of thousands of innocent citizens” pop up together a lot.
Maybe we should look into this communism thing a bit more.
It doesn’t sound like something we want.
Usually the Setnaffarian leader stays silent about these matters or makes an totally unrelated comment.
However now he is coming on strong.
I have no doubt that the Setnaffarian leader fears a possible impeachment of Yoon which would certainly ruin his day, since that means it would usher in a leftist government who he feels would not look kindly on the USFK and the joint US-ROK military exercises which he cherishes.
So it wouldn’t be surprising if he lashes out against those imagined threats whom he feels would threaten the Yoon government.
I can’t speak for others.
I WANT Yoon to be impeached to make way for some hard lefties.
If Koreans want lefties running things, they deserve what they accept.
I think I am positioned to not just survive, but to thrive in a lefty economic hellscape… and emerge stronger when it is over.
