What is this? I doubt he’s here just to discuss the US pledge to defend SK. His visit coincides with the chief of NATO who is in SK to ask SK to give weapons/military aid to Ukraine directly. The pressure is being applied harder on SK to provide Ukraine directly with weapons and ammo. The NATO chief’s visit is plastered all over the international news. The Foreign Policy also has an article out today, about how Europe is becoming less militarily reliant on Germany/France. It’s SK that is now providing that role for most of the rest of Europe.

The thing is, the US is also applying pressure on SK to get involved militarily when Taiwan is attacked. Russia, China, North Korea, South Korea needs to fight all three of them at once, says NATO and the US. Even SK would have difficulties making enough bullets to fight all three countries at once. The US denied SK getting nuclear weapons because the US promises South Korea that the US will not protect Seoul with a nuclear shield even if that means the US gives up Los Angeles.

The US promises South Korea that the US will protect Seoul with a nuclear shield even if that means the US gives up Los Angeles for Seoul if North Korea, backed by Russia/China alliance, threatens to blow up South Korea.

So… chinabot on meth? Or just flailing because the CCP nose-picking hillbillies screwed up so badly on Zero COVID, Operation Fish Kill near Taiwan, relationships with EU nations in the wake of their support for Russans murdering Ukrainians, ecological disasters, bank failures, technology “achievements” being spotted as fraudulent, or any of 1000 other blatant failurds?

Winnie the XI must be hanging on by a slender thread…

Wonder why the Setnaffarian leader is talking about something unrelated when it it confirmed that the US will protect Korea?

Maybe he doesn’t want the US to protect Korea, because it will show that his efforts to undermine Korea on behalf of his Russian and Chinese masters have failed and will also mean that he has to answer to his masters.

Not a good day for the Setnaffarian leader.

Chinabot, the US promised to protect Qaddafi if he gave up his WMDs. And then NATO killed him.

The USA promised to protect Ukraine if they gave up their WMDs. How is that working out?

The USA promised to protect South Vietnam and then reneged.

The USA promised to defend the Afghans from the Taliban. That was another fustercluck.

I didn’t change the subject. I just thought that either you were on drugs and/or thinking SpongeBrain PuddingPants and his CCP hillbilly paymaster could be trusted to do anything honorable.

I’d sooner trust the Chtysanthemum Crowd than the word of a Biden.
