South Korean ‘allies’ or South Korean ‘slaves’?

The US stopped W7trillion ($5.5 BIllion) of foreign investments by a Taiwanese semiconductor material company that was planned for South Korea, then rediverted it to the US with a phone call order.

https://n.news.naver.com/article/009/0005014987

Few of the reader comments:

1) Our government must also thoroughly establish relations with the United States, centered on Korea’s own national interests… American companies are doing well in China despite the sanctions against China, but only Korean companies are harmed by forcibly participating in sanctions just because of the alliance. The trade deficit is serious… Just look at the example of Hyundai Motor’s being excluded from US subsidies, the words alliances are just that, words only. We should also do what they’re doing, just become allies with words only, but just really focus on our own interests only…. enough of being an international sucker.

2) We picked our president so well that we’ve become international suckers.

3) This is a payback for Yoon’s Nancy Pelosi passing. European and Japanese electric EV’s are getting subsidies. And we just lost a huge foreign investment…. we’re really feeling the pain of picking that idiot as the president.

4) WoW, our government is the best government of all times!

5) Yun’s diplomacy! All I can do is swear. WTH is he doing?

6) The US only thinks about its own national interests, alliance? Oh ya right. Korean autos and Korean semiconductors are doing well, but they are a threat to the US. So that’s why they want to stop this. The US is bullying us just like China what’s the difference?

7) Americans only think about America. Alliances are only for their own use. The Global Sucker government of Yoon, don’t trust the US and Japan. Do you guys really think the Moon administration had two feet both in China and Russia for nothing, you stupid dumb suckers!

8) Rumors circulated that the Korean president was an idiot.

9) They knew that the dumbshit Yoon was stupid to begin with, that’s why the US is totally ignoring him.

10) What is the government doing? The foreign policy and trade are all messed up. Instead of bowing his head and crouching to Japan in subservience, why not do something to prepare for all the US back stabbing for a change?

11) Having elected an idiot as the prez… the diplomacy has gone to shits.. this means he got his nose cut off while his eyes were open. There is no need to argue with his faction. All he did was hurt the country’s national interest. This is 100% impeachment material. How can one person turn a respectable country into one of the most incompetent country in the world? Pretty soon the country’s going to be another Philippines or Argentina. Hey Right-wingers, the more you praise and support Yoon, the more of a joke in the world, SK is turning into.

12) Total collapse of the foreign relations line. They are not doing any of their jobs, just paying themselves high using tax payer money.

13) Even by looking at it, the neighborhood idiot is our boss, how can they not think we’re just suckers? The US will not be easy on us, they will continue to bully and be arrogant toward us. That’s what these old pig’s ass suckers have created for us.

Yoon’s approval rating is now in single digits and is becoming political fodder for the impeachment movement that’s going to start pretty soon when the people are finally fed up with Yoon’s unconditional one-sided love of the US, ass-kissing the US, making it so easy for the US to swoop up all the dollars, all the jobs, by using the China threat or anti-China alliance, for the benefit of America themselves only.

“South Korean ‘allies’ or South Korean ‘slaves’?”

I go with slaves.

An ally might not be willing to pick leaves on my perilla farm under the summer sun.

So who do I see about buying a Korean?

I suppose a chinaman would know.

(Tell him I need a big, buff laborer. And a cute little twink… uh… for… for a friend.)

Protip: Ask yourself, “Does Korea really need Taiwanese ‘investment’?” Korea is not a broke country looking to exchange labor for a fraction of the profit. Korea invests in other countries. And it should certainly invest in itself.

One of the ways leftist trolls work is by quoting friggin’ books. They have no ability to summarize.

It’s really rather pathetic. All those years of so-called “education” and nothing tangible to show for it but the ability to — rather gormlessly — cut and paste agitprop on demand.
