South Korea’s Daily COVID Cases Surges to New Record of Over 38,000
This new record shouldn’t be a surprise considering South Korea just came out of a major holiday:

South Korea’s daily virus cases hit another high Sunday, exceeding 38,000, as the highly transmissible omicron variant rages across the country following a holiday season.
The country reported 38,691 new COVID-19 infections, including 38,502 local cases, raising the total to 1,009,688, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).
The accumulated virus caseload surpassed 1 million on Sunday, two years after the country reported its first COVID-19 case.

Yawn, cases are meaningless.
Cases aren’t “meaningless”.
You can’t maintain a fake covid passport system, push unlimited boosters, and kill small business if all you got is tiny little fearless numbers.
When I become president-for-life, I will try to find a place for you in my regime, but it certainly won’t be in the Derectorate of Truth.
CH, should have clarified, cases are meaningless in the spirit of the Stalin attributed quote of ‘who votes is not important, who counts the votes matters.’ I hope I have rehabilitated my self in the eyes of President for Life.
1. Create an arbitrary numerical framework that reflects an aspect of reality but not one that has a large effect.
2. Be sure it is easy to manipulate up or down.
3. Link a sense of public fear proportionate to the magnitude of this number.
4. Start controlling the public!
