Korea, always looking backward not forward. Same thinking that while Japan modernized in the late 1800 Korea clung to its old thinking and refused anything modern.

>Remember 2019 GSOMIA scandal?

Yah I remember, that was triggered by hostile Japan accusing South Korea of giving North Korea, the three chemicals (Hydro Flouride, Photo Resist, Polymer Flouride) that are used in making semiconductors – Japan’s rightwing bullsh*t attempt at damaging South Korea’s semiconductor industry and the economy by slapping economic sanctions on South Korea. I remember this guy claiming that without those critical Japanese components, South Korea’s economy will be on its knees. Yoon (and many right-wing Koreans like him) wanted South Korea to get on its knees and apologize to Japan. How this f*cker and his kind were totally wrong. South Korea just replaced those chemicals and the Japanese companies were damaged because the Japan shot itself on the foot.

>S Korea threatened to renege on 2016 intel sharing pact

Not exactly doofus. South Korea threatened not to renew the intel sharing pact – the pact that was renewed every year until Japan pulled that 2019 stunt.

>incl. satellite, sea- & land-based radar) with JPN, which is better than SK

If Japan’s satellite and intelligence are so much better, then why have they been wrong so many times, and had to be corrected by South Korean and American intelligence? South Korea doesn’t need Japan’s worthless intelligence. That pact was signed only due to US pressures.

>Today, it’s 2 hours behind JPN report that NK’s missile reached 2000km altitude & flew 800km.

The importance lies not on who reports what first. The importance lies in how accurate that information is. For example, about 5 months ago, Japan claimed North Korea had fired two missiles, South Korea on the other hand said North Korea had fired only one. The US intelligence confirmed that it was one missile. That was a total embarrassment for Japan which ended up retracting its claim.

Flyingsword, that sounds more like Japan of 2022, which is sinking and declining fast because of their arrogance, refusal to change, blinded to corruption, apathy towards their politicians abusing their power, and inability to get with the times. I have their faxed stamp of approval and their floppy disks to prove it.
