Picture of the Day: New ROK Military Generals Receive Their “Sam Jeong Geom” Swords

A group of 76 brigadier generals from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force salute to President Moon Jae-in during a ceremony to give them the traditional Korean sword “Sam Jeong Geom,” or the Three Spirits Sword, in honor of their recent promotions at the presidential office in Seoul on Nov. 16, 2021. The Three Spirits refer to defending, unifying and prospering the nation. (Yonhap)
