Picture of the Day: Ancient Skeleton Found in Gyeongju
|
This photo, released by the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation on July 15, 2021, shows a skeleton that archeologists have found at a tomb from the Silla Kingdom (57 B.C.- A.D. 935), believed to have been built 1,500 years ago, in the ancient city of Gyeongju. The male skeleton, which has a height of about 180 centimeters, is believed to be the highest among ones from the Three Kingdoms (57 B.C.-A.D. 668). (Yonhap)
What is up with that little tiny stereotype bone on the ground between his tibias?
I have never actually seen a bone like this except in cartoons about dogs.
…well… and a cave in Cambodia where they threw babies during another one of those equality and equity social experiments.
Most likely a China virus victim….or at least be counted that way, gotta keep the panic going.
