Tokyo Olympics to Go Forward without Fans

Tokyo just like Seoul has seen a recent increase in COVID infections and this has caused the Japanese government to cancel fans attending the games:

Organizers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on Thursday agreed to hold the Games without spectators, after Japan declared a coronavirus state of emergency for the capital that will run throughout the event.

The widely expected move was made following talks between the government, Tokyo organizers and Olympic and Paralympic representatives.

It was “regrettable” that the Games were going to be held in a limited format, Tokyo 2020 President Seiko Hashimoto told a briefing, adding her apologies to those who had bought tickets.

Asinine scamdemic.

In a contest between totalitarianism based on fake pandemics or the commercialized politicized organized grabassery that is the Olympics, it is hard to choose a preferred winner.

People who blather “scamdemic” would be doing themselves a favor by reading the excellent Wiki article on COVID-19 misinformation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_misinformation). And another nifty thing they should do is remember that at the same time their hero, the twice-impeached one, was saying COVID-19 is a hoax, he was getting treatment for it.

OK, answer this:

Korea has a massive socializing culture, a food sharing culture, a packed public transportation culture, a dense megabits culture, a multiple generations living in one small apartment culture…

…half-àss mask wearing, half-àss lockdowns, half-àss social distancing, a half-àss vaccination program…

…and an aging population.

So, if covid is so bad, why have more people died getting hit by cars than from covid?

You have the floor.

CH, our friend in Beijing has not even been honest about where the virus came from. How can you expect him to do more than repeat CCP propaganda and try not to be the first one to stop clapping.

@ChickenHead: According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2019 motor vehicle fatalities were about 36,120. From 2008-2019 it hovered in the 32K range (https://crashstats.nhtsa.dot.gov/Api/Public/ViewPublication/812946). I think 2019 is a better base year given that the U.S. had lockdowns and anecdotally there should be less fatalities.

Now, based on CDC data, there were roughly 375,000 deaths due to COVID in 2020. At the same time heart disease and cancer had higher fatality rates at 690K and 598K (https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7014e1.htm). So it is safe to say there are other causes of death that are more prevalent than COVID. But…heart disease and cancer are not infectious…

If anything, once COVID is wiped out, a good statistic would be that more people die getting hit by cars than from COVID (30K deaths are much better than 300K deaths). COVID deaths should significantly go down in the coming years as more people become immune.

@ChickenHead: Motor vehicle fatalities are around 30K/year in the U.S., COVID fatalities were around 350K in 2020 alone….

Now tell me what percentage of people who are listed as dying of Winnie’s Pox actually died from that, as opposed to dying with it. And tell me how accurate the testing was in 2020. And furthermore, tell me why you believe any group that uses Fauci as a spokesmodel?

“@ChickenHead: Motor vehicle fatalities are around 30K/year in the U.S., COVID fatalities were around 350K in 2020 alone….”

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm?fbclid=IwAR3-wrg3tTKK5-9tOHPGAHWFVO3DfslkJ0KsDEPQpWmPbKtp6EsoVV2Qs1Q

“Comorbidities and other conditions

Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The number of deaths that mention one or more of the conditions indicated is shown for all deaths involving COVID-19 and by age groups. For over 5% of these deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death.”

(This has since been quietly revised to 4%)

That puts it in line with traffic accidents.

TLDR: ~95% of covid deaths had an average of FOUR health problems. They likely would have lived longer. Chinkpox thinned the herd sooner than nature. That’s too bad. But it is certainly not worth all of the social and economic destruction the response caused. Isolating the high risk rather than isolating everyone like some sort of group punishment was the correct response.

(~80% of covid deaths under 60 were of the obese… which is why “poor and minorities experienced higher risk”… turns out it was self-selection rather than racism.)

There is also the issue of perverse incentives for government paying hospitals to record a covid death. A false positive on a test known to give false positives in an environment known to give false positives with a financial incentive to generate false positives likely generated a few false positives.

In the end, mainstream media and their controlled opposition have no desire for you to know any truth. Quoting them without looking up context leaves you hanging. For that matter, the CDC doesn’t really want you to know the truth but they can’t be seen as lying… so they obscure the truth the best they can and let the media misrepresent it… with hopes the useful idiots will only quote the media.

In the end, Korea has a low obesity rate and didn’t lie about every gunshot victim with a false positive as being a covid death. That made the under-50 death rate smaller than choking on food.

We can discuss this further if you still think the numbers from MSNBC or Fox News were meant to inform you rather than control you through fear.

CH, you are so much more tolerant than I am. I lost my tolerance when I realized how many lives have been ruined by the fake news about the Sino Sinus Syphilus and the ill-intentioned and unnecessary lockdowns.

Yeah, I atill wear a mask when required; but I occasionally “forget” until someone reminds me.

  https://science.sciencemag.org/content/early/2021/06/30/science.abi7994?

The strain’s mutations break down neutralized antibodies, which are produced by vaccines such as Pfizer and Moderna and protect against infection, according to the study, published in the journal Science on July 1.

Which makes me curious about ADE (antibody dependent enhancement).
I know TPTB say it’s not a thing for the covid vaccine.
But they also say mRNA vaccines have been very well tested, long term.
Which is not true.

If this is true (not having read the study yet I can’t say for sure), this lends even more support for the ADE suspicion:
https://www.investmentwatchblog.com/shocking-latest-public-health-england-data-shows-vaccinated-3-4x-more-likely-to-die-if-hospitalised-than-nonvaxxed/

latest Public Health England data shows vaccinated 3.4x more likely to die if hospitalised than nonvaxxed.

John henry….the scam is using a strong cold bug to take everyone’s rights and freedoms. A disease that 99.99% get better from is no reason to shut down the world. And correct Trump had it and got better…some fat, out of shape, 75+ year old who eats McDonald’s got over with little difficulty shows what a joke it is.

It’s time to abolish the Olympics.

All that graft, corruption, lies, theft, and political usages…. must all go.

If athletes want to compete in the Olympics, they should be denationalized. Flags should be banned, and athletes should represent themselves and teams that they join not based on nationality, and the teams and athletes should not belong to nations. The IOC, bunch of crooks and liars, should be also disbanded, replaced by a non-profit organization representing the athletes.

What nonsense Japan is obsessed with hosting the Olympics at a time when there’s a pandemic – with all their lies, buying off IOC reps, covering up and reporting understated infection numbers, laughably declaring Fukushima nuclear disaster is now over, insisting on serving irradiated foods grown in Fukushima to the world wide athletes and visitors, and even falsely reporting the number of vaccinated in Japan by grossly overcounting the numbers. Can you imagine if Russia or China acted like this? The Americans, Europeans would be all over them. But no, this Japan…Japan gets a complete pass, because Japan is supposedly democratic, have anime, and AV. lol…

As usual, our ten-cent trolls can’t decide whether to attack capitalism, Japanese tentacle pr0n, individual nations, or what, resulting in an illegible word salad.

It’s a real shame we don’t at least rate at least one troll with a sense of humor and some wit.
