Trump Calls President Moon a Weak Leader and Negotiator

It appeared that when Trump was in office he did not have a good relationship with Moon and his latest remarks validate this:

Former president Donald Trump on Friday accused his South Korean counterpart of ripping off the United States, while continuing to highlight his supposed friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

“Kim Jong-un of North Korea, who I have gotten to know (and like) under the most trying of circumstances, never respected the current President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in,” Trump said in a statement.

“President Moon was weak as a leader and as a negotiator, except when it came to the continued, long term military ripoff of the USA… We were treated like fools for decades, however, I got them to pay billions of dollars more for the military protection and services we render.”

“The Biden Administration is not even going to ask for the additional billions South Korea agreed to pay us,” Trump added, referring to current President Joe Biden.

Moon is a weak leader. Look at the cabinet meetings he chairs. Instead of giving clear and direct orders to the ministers, he says “you should do this in order to get this result” or “talk among yourselves and propose me a solution”.

Not exactly something you would expect from a “strong leader”.

Fact Check: True.

LOL. On the contrary, he almost got that fat chump, Trump to sign the peace agreement with North Korea.

What evidence is there for that? All Trump was doing was preventing Norkistan from being dangerous to America. There would have been no peace agreement without an end to Nork nukes and ICBMs. Any fantasy about another outcome is unsupported by facts or logic.

South Korea’s Moon *chose* to play false to the Allies who saved the RoK in 1950–and since they have isolated themselves, the Norks treat Moon like the pariah he made of himself. They make no pretense about their contempt for him.

Frankly, it’s a shame. South Korea is a beautiful country. It’s too bad they’ve decided to throw away their liberty and economic success chasing a false hope that the amoral narcissists in Pyongyang will suddenly turn away from communism to democracy.

Leftists always underestimate the hatred built into communism. Antifa/BLM are just a related symptom.

Moon conned both Kim and Trump to meet probably telling each of them that the other side would give what they wanted. And they both went to the summit each expecting the other side to give what they wanted.

Of course both of them did not get what they wanted and probably realized that they have been had by Moon(also probably the reason both of them did not want Moon with them when they met in Panmunjon) and are now taking it out on him.

Now, if you want to add conning Kim and Trump as a leftist foreign policy achievement, well be my guest, but it isn’t an achievement if the result is simple blow back and the same old deteriorating situation.
