If the Chinese “Navy” sends something armed, it gives Joey Leg Hairs a chance to pretend to be tough… By the time the Chinese get to Korean waters, B-1s and B-2s out of Anderson could be flying overhead.
And it’s doubtful the Chinese Navy can protect their oil tankers all the way from the Gulf, so they won’t get too squirrelly in Korean waters….

I think the US will only show any force is if vice President Harris thinks it will advance her career. I’m about convinced President Biden is a figurehead and she’s running the show.
