Tests Kits Purchased from Korea Defended By Maryland National Guard Troops

If you haven’t heard this yet, the state of Maryland bought $9 million in test kits and used the National Guard to defend the cargo shipment from being taken by the federal government:

COVID-19 testing kits from LabGenomics are unloaded from a Korean Air plane at Baltimore-Washington International Airport on Monday, April 20, 2020

Maryland authorities were so concerned about the federal government seizing a shipment of COVID-19 tests destined for the state that they made special arrangements to receive and guard the tests until they could be distributed, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan said Thursday.

Hogan cited the fate of 3 million N95 masks purchased by the state of Massachusetts — all of which were confiscated in March by the federal government at the port of New York — as the main reason for taking extra precautions to secure his state’s order of 500,000 COVID-19 testing kits from South Korea.

You can read more at the link, but the governor’s wife is a Korean-American who helped facilitate the purchase.

This air cargo operation is laughably inefficient. They chartered a passenger 777 specifically to fly a lower deck of AKE’s to BWI from Korea. The trip for this tail number must have put four flight cycles on the air-frame and engines. Then they strapped 3 AKES onto the back of a flatbed truck instead of using CTV transport. LOL.

Also, the news story evinces that the Maryland government’s furtive transportation of these goods broke the regulations for USCBP clearance of imported cargo.

I heard that they are not just short of test kits, but they are also desperately short of swabs (those cotton tipped sticks used to take samples from people’s noses and throats) and chemical reagents. Both items are in short supply in the US, but South Korea has no shortages so therefore could easily provide the state of Maryland if they had asked.

I heard most of the shortages of PPE and etc around the US, Europe, and Asia were caused by Beijing and the WHO prevarication about how the disease spreads, Chinese buying up everything they could find around the world, and hoarding it.

But I wasn’t there, so I can’t say whether it’s a lie or a damned lie. Like their earlier stories about how it was caused by a US GI.

Linking XiNN is one sure way to get misinformed.

In other news, the DOJ dropped their case against General Flynn.

Colorado just bought some too. I wonder if the guard will be used there.

With nursing staff making tik tok dance videos in full PPE I doubt there are any shortages and any talk of shortages is just to create political intrigue. The entire virus is a plandemic.
