Returned royal sealsThis photo, provided by the Cultural Heritage Administration, shows the royal seals of King Hyojong (1619-1659) and King Gojong (1863-1907) of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) which were made public at National Palace Museum of Korea in Seoul on Feb. 19, 2020. The seals were recently donated by Korean-American Lee Dae-soo who happened to find and buy the smuggled items in the United States in the late 1990s. On the left is King Gojong’s. (Yonhap)
