Analyst Believes North Korea Will Launch “Grey Zone” Provocation Strategy
Here is another opinion on what North Korea will do over the next year:

North Korea could launch maximum “gray-zone” provocations next year just short of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch to extract U.S. concessions in their stalled nuclear talks, an expert said Thursday.
Jun Bong-geun, professor at the state-run Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA), made the remarks amid speculation that the North could engage in provocative acts in a show of anger over the absence of U.S. concessions by Pyongyang’s self-imposed year-end deadline.
“Though strong provocations are expected, the North may not go all the way to an ICBM launch, as the launch could make it difficult for Pyongyang to secure support from China and Russia,” Jun said during a briefing on the outlook of global politics for 2020 by the KNDA Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS).
“But the North would pressure the U.S. to make concessions and change its calculus while engaging in maximum gray-zone provocations,” he added.

Since I have as much credibility as any random South Korean think tank, I predict kim fatty the third will rattle a saber this year because Trump will ignore his “little buddy” in Norkistan while he is busy getting re-elected. This comes from my extensive knowledge of North Korean politics, cult of Kim family worship, and of course the knowledge from my fellow ROKheads…
And commie Moon will be on board with whatever Fatty deceides to do.
And Jum talking about “pressure” on US negotiators displays a very solid misunderstanding of President Trump.
All Trump really wants from North Korea is that they’re no longer a threat to the USA. Short-range projectiles snd conventional warheads are unimportant in that regard; but might affect the deal “sweeteners” once tbe nukes snd ICBMs are deep-sixed. (That is, dump all the missiles and get more cheeseburger franchises.)
