Former Ulsan mayor summoned by prosecutorsKim Gi-hyeon, a former Ulsan mayor, answers questions from reporters upon arrival at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office in southern Seoul on Dec. 15, 2019, to be questioned by prosecutors as a witness of allegations that Cheong Wa Dae pulled strings in a police investigation into corruption-related suspicions involving close aides to Kim three months ahead of the Ulsan mayoral election in June 2018 with an ill intention to meddle in the election. Kim, who was an influential contender at that time, has alleged that he lost the election because of the investigation. (Yonhap)
