The funny thing is that the Korean government spent billions of Dollars to develop an indigenous helicopter with Eurocopter in order to kickstart a Korean helicopter manufacturing industry.
But the local government agencies, who operate the emergency helicopters, refuse to buy the Korean made helicopter and instead buy ones made by Eurocopter or Leonardo.
