Ulleungdo airportSeoul plans to begin this month the bidding process to select a construction company to build an airport on remote Ulleungdo island by 2025. This will greatly increase tourism on Ulleungdo which right now is depended on the ferry boat bringing tourists over. Poor sea states effects boat travel but not air travel which will help tourists stay on schedule when visiting the island.
