remember…not stealth as soon as you put external stores on it…

I don’t think the design allows external stores on it, does it?
F22 is all internal.

Just looked it up and I guess the JSF has both (internal and external weapons).
Really too small to carry much inside I’m sure and yeah, outside there’s no stealth, the quality they’re paying that ridiculous amount of money for. Plus it has only one engine. So if that goes the thing will glide like a bowling ball with butterfly wings I’m sure.

The stealth bits are really for when you want to shoot opponents out of the sky and get home safely. If they want a bomber, they should use the stealth aircraft to clear a path and then a mix of “Wild Weasels” and older, non-stealthy aircraft will work just fine. Even F-15s, F-16s, and T-50s would do in a pinch…

Mind you, nothing will work if the ROKAF is grounded due to political shenanigans…

Do you have a coupon? I never buy anything over 10 million dollars without a discount coupon.

I recall, when Lockheed Martin was selling the concept they said limited internal space for stores shouldn’t be an issue because new small diameter bombs are being built for them.

You’re right, JoeC. And it–once again–shows why fighter pilots should not be allowed to design bombers…

Fatty will like these for no cost when he takes over.

Rocket Man, with only 40, Fatty won’t be able to keep more than 1 airworthy unless he denukes and gets Trump to give him a contract… Look at Iran and their F-14s, and these are a lot more complex.

He’s just gonna sell them and the spares to Moscow and Beijing…
