Great interview. I did not know Kurt was on KBS. He has a show on TBS FM daily but I can’t imagine TBS having the views of Dr. Myers on their programing.
This interview is very good and Dr. Myers hit a lot of key points in regards to the North Korea issue. One of my favorites was when he said that the engagement crowd people have not yet been able to explain how the Kim regime justifies their existence if they open up and become and second rate South Korea.
Some other good points is when Dr. Myers said that to the North Korean domestic audience the visit by Moon to Paekdusan appears to be a pilgrimage which the international media did not pick up on. He also expects that Kim will visit Seoul before the March 1st anniversary next year and Moon and Kim will visit an anti-Japanese site such as Seodamun Prison to play off of anti-Japanese sentiment.
