Tweet of the Day: Myeong-dong Vendor and Restaurant War

This used to happen in Itaewon as well, with the sidewalk vendors. (maybe it still does) Eventually the store front merchants and pedestrians tire of the cart vendors blocking passage, tire of their sprawl, their trash, their wires, etc. So every so often another “crackdown” would be announced. And the cart vendors would clean up their act, for a while. And pedestrians could walk unobstructed, for a while.

Rinse, repeat. But then, what would Korea be, without the entrepreneur? Gotta love it!
