Picture of the Day: North Korea’s New Tech Complex
The photos carried by North Korea’s Rodong Sinmun on Oct. 28, 2015 shows the country’s new Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang. The report said North Korea’s top leader Kim Jong-un lauded the facility as showing the world the strong desire and passion of the country and its people to become well versed in science and technology. When I see this complex, I get this mental picture of large, empty spaces inside the buildings where old men in Korean military uniforms are racing along well-polished floors on office chairs.

That view of electrons circling the nucleus is kinda 1940ish…
And if they really wanted Korea to be successful, they could stop shooting at tourist ajummas walking on the beach and work out a deal with the ROK to share a few booths at KINTEX or the like…
