Who Said It?

Can anyone guess who said this statement below:

"The people chose you [Democrats] due to your opposition to Bush’s policy in Iraq, but it appears that you are marching with him to the same abyss, and it appears that you will take part with him in the defeat."

Was it Cindy Sheehan or one of the other loons in the anti-war left?  You can find out by clicking here.

Hugh : "What a national catastrophe this war in Iraq has become. Large sections of the world who liked America before, now regard you with a mixture of distrust, pity or contempt. The parts of the world that hated the US,, now hate you enough to fight. 50 years of good reputation and alliances down the drain!

And the finances. As the billions of American taxpayers dollars circle down the Iraqi drain and the surplus turned into the largest deficit in American history, many economists now predict that a long recessison or even a financial disaster is coming – "the deep well of sorrow the future holds" as one of the Fed governors confessed it last year.

The geopolitical debacle. This war has strengthened Iran in numerous ways – most notably in that 'our' President of Iraq, Mr. Maliki, is in fact very much in bed with the Iranians! North Korea was emboldened by America being tied down in the middle east to become a nuclear state, and instead of the bombing they would have got, they got Clinton deal #2 last week."

ROKDrop: You must be a loony of the anti-war left.

Uh huh. Seems to me that any America supporting the war in the face of the mountain of disaster might be a little loony….

You know, Cindy Sheehan is a slavering dumb freak, and you know what else? so is Ann Coulter. Using either of them to represent the left or right is intellectually lazy or dishonest, so give it up.

And although I was going to ignore it, I just clicked the link.

Well uh huh again. Since al-Quada opposes Bush, and the Democrats oppose Bush, it take it your implication is that al-Quada and the Democrats, nay all Americans who disagree with this war, are allies. Riiiiight.

Hugh, your Bush Derangement Syndrome is showing, so calm down.

Why isn't the US media reporting accurately what Zawahiri said? The news articles point out that Zawahiri calls for Muslim unity and even that Zawahiri calls Bush an alcoholic but nothing about Zawahiri demanding that the Democrats change US war policy to pull the US military out of Iraq.

This statement is made during the time the Democratic contolled house was debating the "let's hope for defeat because we hate Bush more than we support our soldiers" resolution in Iraq. This statement is also made when Democrats were bashing the US's greatest ally John Howard for meddling in domestic politics and yet nothing is said about Zawahiri meddling in domestic politics.

Why isn't there a news headline of "Zawahiri calls for Democrats to Change War Policy", instead we get "Now it's Personal: Al Qaida Calls Bush an Alcoholic Liar".

Sorry to tell you, Cindy Sheehan is the face of the anti-war movement. That is why comments from the terrorists that are similar to things she says should be pointed out.

I do agree with you on one thing, both Sheehan and Coulter do more harm than good than to the side they supposedly represent.
