Black Brooklyn senator forced to apologize for saying ‘white people don’t eat the way we do’ in debate over what supermarket should be built in neighborhood

So, a Key Food is closing, and a Whole Foods Market may be opening?

Sounds like an opportunity to open a lower end supermarket. I’m pretty sure Senator Velmanette Montgomery will help smooth over any Zoning Issues.

Or will she resist a WalMart Neighborhood Market coming into the area?

What a terrible racist lie!

Just thinking of this is going to ruin my dinner of fried chicken and watermelon washed down with grape soda.

Hillary Clinton never used her official e-mail account as Secretary of State, instead using a personal account for all official correspondence.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/02/politics/hillary-clinton-2016-emails-secretary-of-state/index.html

While e-mails to State Department employees would be stored on servers, those to others would likely have been lost.

Wonder what kind of juicy details are never going to be subject to FOIA requests now. How convenient.

Well, it is a little early to assume the DPRK decided to snatch up yet another Korean Pastor. So far, everyone arrested recently has gone out of their way to make an ass out of themselves. Still, it has been over 21 days, so any ebola quarantine should be over.

Nothing on him acting the fool, but North Korea treats Korean troublemakers a bit differently than Caucasian troublemakers.

More to come soon, I’m sure.

“Hillary Clinton never used her official e-mail account as Secretary of State, instead using a personal account for all official correspondence.”

America is no longer a nation of laws… just rules… but only for the little people.

In times past, this would have been a big deal. Now, nobody makes a big deal… the lazy media, the dumbed-down population, the other party who wants to get by with stuff, too, without worrying about anybody digging.

Politicians don’t hold each other accountable to protect their own corrupt practices… so it has become the two parties against the citizens… and when citizens try to hold politicians accountable, they are branded as nut-jobs or extremists… which may be so, as only the whack-jobs get any press so that the reasonable ones get tarnished by (manufactured) association.

It does not matter. The fix is in. If They (and we can discuss who They are) want Hillary, the next president will be Hillary.

“While e-mails to State Department employees would be stored on servers, those to others would likely have been lost.”

Despite what everyone would have us believe, it is unlikely that anything on the internet is ever really lost. If someone wanted Hillary’s email, they could be found… if they really wanted them… but it is unlikely that anybody with a public agenda has the power to get them… though someone who wanted to get Hillary to follow their program might be able to come up with them… lookin’ at you, Enessay.

“If Obama had a twin brother the brother could have been white.”

That would totally kill any twin fantasy.

It would be little different than a regular 3-way…

…except perhaps more awkward to have one go down on the other.

Transparancy:

1. You can see everything
2. You can’t see anything at all

~Lord Havelock Vetinari

‘And these are your reasons, my lord?’
‘Do you think I have others?’ said Lord Vetinari. ‘My motives, as ever, are entirely transparent.’
Hughnon reflected that ‘entirely transparent’ meant either that you could see right through them or that you couldn’t see them at all.

~The Truth
Terry Pratchett

Yes, Hillary has been entirely transparent during her tenure as Secretary of State, and I’m sure she will be just as transparent if she becomes the first female President.
Good thing she is post-menopausal. Peace, without severe negociations every 28 days.

Ferguson MO, Cops discriminated against black people(I’m sure NOTHING has changed as of yet) says the DOJ, but of course your famed TOP RACIST on the ROKDROP chicken/EGGHEAD would have you believe that black people simply deserve it because they “drive with hoodies and/or caps turned backwards” just to name one of his typical like reasons cops in Ferguson get by with cold blooded murder.

‘The Ferguson Police Department violated the constitutional rights of the city’s black residents for years, says a Department of Justice report …’
http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/3/8143861/justice-department-report-ferguson-police-racial-bias
“Federal investigators found that, well before the shooting death of Michael Brown last year, police activity in Ferguson, Missouri, was fueled by racial discrimination against the predominantly black population, resulting in unjustified traffic stops, arrests without probable cause, and the use of excessive force.

Investigators in Ferguson conducted hundreds of interviews and reviewed 35,000 pages of police data to determine definitively if racial bias was at the root of the tensions between officers and the black community. The findings show that, despite comprising only 67 percent of the total population, black people account for 93 percent of all arrests between 2012 and 2014. In addition, 85 percent of all people stopped for a traffic violation and 90 percent of people given citations were black.

The Justice Department also found evidence of racial discrimination in Ferguson police officials’ emails. According to The Washington Post, an email sent in November 2008 joked that President Obama wouldn’t hold office long, since “what black man holds a steady job for four years.”

The entire report is due out tomorrow and I’ll keep you posted!

“black people simply deserve it because they “drive with hoodies and/or caps turned backwards”

…or walking in the middle of the street… and every other antisocial behavior that attracts the attention of law enforcement.

“resulting in unjustified traffic stops”

…said the report written by people who have never been street cops and don’t have the cop ESP which knows when people are up to no good based on many small factors.

“Investigators in Ferguson conducted hundreds of interviews”

Yo mutherfukker I didn’t do nuthin. Dem dam cop was a profilin me. I got my dam rights. Now be checkin dat box dat says they is racist.

“The findings show that, despite comprising only 67 percent of the total population, black people account for 93 percent of all arrests between 2012 and 2014.”

Missing from the report was, despite comprising only 67 percent of the population, black people accounted for 100 percent of all arson and looting in 2014.

As everything that comes out of Holder’s mouth since his violent Afro-centric days as a university student is anti-whitey, there can be little faith in this report.

“In addition, 85 percent of all people stopped for a traffic violation and 90 percent of people given citations were black.”

I suspect there are several factors. The first is that black people break the law more often. That “walk in the middle of the street” mentality translates to driving. The second is black people don’t deal politely and respectfully with cops so they don’t get a break. Youtube is full of white people talking smack to cops and getting a beatdown for it. This is likely more of a conflict of cultures than real racism.

“an email sent in November 2008 joked that President Obama wouldn’t hold office long, since “what black man holds a steady job for four years.””

What a stupid thing to say. No black man is going to give up four years of government housing.

In the end, this report was likely written to justify a predetermined conclusion… the racist cops are abusing the innocent and peaceful black citizens.

Cops joke around with steteotypes… which are actually realities they deal with on a daily basis… but there is (in most departments) not the racism that politicians and agitators would have non-cops believe.

Petraeus is a fuuck-up… too stupid to avoid honey pots and crazy pusssy. Despite his “hero” status, it is likely he was a zero-defect fuuck-up throughout his career.

Snowden is a hero and a traitor… correctly releasing information about unconstitutional acts against Americans… but needlessly exposing information that greatly harmed America’s long-term intetests.

Both should be punished for acts they knew were wrong.

There could be a thoughtful debate on what is just and appropriate punishment.

None of the following thoughts are in defense of the Ferguson police department. They may very well be in violation of the constitution. Just preliminary thoughts until the full report comes out.

While I don’t doubt the possibility that there were racial tactics involved in Ferguson, it would help to see the report and the specific examples cited in it before I make a firm judgement. I am interested in reviewing it further when it is published in its entirety.

The population to arrest ratio doesn’t necessarily mean anything racial. It isn’t impossible or unusual for any ethnic group to account for a higher percentage of crime than their percentage of the population. For instance, there is an ethnic group that accounts for 13% of the total population, but commits over half of the murders.

I can’t be sure without knowing more, just a guess, but the fact that more blacks were searched doesn’t have to mean racial targeting. The police may follow a protocol to ask everyone who is stopped. It may very well be the case that blacks are more hesitant to refuse consent.

I find it disturbing if anyone is pulled over or arrested without probable cause. If there is indeed an issue there, it needs to be fixed immediately with firings and retraining of the police.

Police ignorance of constitutional rights of citizens is definitely an issue in the country. I certainly don’t deny it could be the case in Ferguson. Like I said, I would like to see the full report before I make a judgement on the racial aspect. Unfortunately, not everything that comes out of the Justice Department these days can be taken at face value without some research.

U. S. Ambassador to South Korea has been attacked by a knife wielding man while giving a lecture:

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean media say U.S. Ambassador Mark Lippert has been attacked while giving a lecture and taken to a hospital for treatment.

Yonhap news agency said Lippert was injured, but it wasn’t clear the exact nature of his injuries. YTN TV showed a picture of Lippert bleeding from the head and wrist but said his injuries weren’t seen as life threatening. Calls to Embassy and police weren’t immediately returned on Thursday. YTN said a man only identified by his surname, Kim, was arrested after the attack.

Nothing has been released as to the attacker’s motive, but this is still very fresh.

Does anybody local have anything? It seems like things are mostly quiet in Korea now, except for the annual Bluster Fest that the norKs perform over Foal Eagle and Key Resolve.

South Korean media reported that in August 2010 that Kim Ki-jong was sentenced to a three-year suspended prison term over the attack. Kim, who was protesting Japan’s claim to small disputed islands that are occupied by South Korea, missed the ambassador with the concrete and hit his secretary instead, the reports said”.

‘Righteous Punishment’ Against US says N. Korea.

Lippert needs to do like the Romans do(I mean Koreans) and stay in hospital for 3 weeks, but he can sneak out at night.

Given that about 50% of Koreans hate America you can be sure they agree with N. Korea as they want unification too and believe America is at fault for the split up/hillbilly feud affair.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/north-korea-hails-attack-mark-lippert-righteous-punishment/story?id=29404272
“The statement said the alleged assailant, Kim Ki-jong, 55, gave “a knife-attack shower of justice” to Mark Lippert, who police said was slashed on the face and wrist with a 10-inch fruit knife. ”

Lippert was seen with blood on his hand and holding his bleeding face, and medical officials said 80 stitches were needed to close the facial wound. Lippert was in stable condition after undergoing surgery, the U.S. Embassy said.

The assailant shouted, “No to war training” before attacking Lippert, the Yonhap news agency reported. The man was reportedly later tackled and arrested.

In a televised briefing, Chung Nam-sik of the Severance Hospital said the knife penetrated through Lippert’s left arm and damaged the nerves connected to his pinkie and tendons connected to his thumb. Lippert will need to be treated at the hospital for the next three or four days and might experience sensory problems in his left hand for several months, Chung said.”

johnnyboy ” it would help to see the report and the specific examples cited in it before I make a firm judgement.”

Like uhhh, what is there to dispute? The GOP’s “No New Taxes” has turned into a get the black man and make him pay to raise revenues.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/03/04/the-12-key-highlights-from-the-dojs-scathing-ferguson-report/
“Investigators determined that in “nearly every aspect of Ferguson’s law enforcement system,” African Americans are impacted a severely disproportionate amount. The report included racist e-mails sent by police and municipal court supervisors, repeated examples of bias in law enforcement and a system that seemed built upon using arrest warrants to squeeze money out of residents.

The city’s practices are shaped by revenue rather than by public safety needs.

The 67% of African Americans in Ferguson account for 93% of arrests made from 2012-2014.

Here is what happened when a 32-year-old black man was seen resting in his car after playing basketball.

A Ferguson woman parked her car illegally once in 2007. It ended up costing her more than $1,000 and 6 days in jail.

The disproportionate number of arrests, tickets and use of force stemmed from “unlawful bias,” rather than black people committing more crime.

A singled missed, late or partial payment of a fine could mean jail time.

Arrest warrants are “almost exclusively” used as threats to push for payments.

And if time is served, no credit for jail time is received and the length of time isn’t even recorded by the court.

This example of a lieutenant’s actions was a huge cause for concern: [Click the link to see]

Officers used a dog to attack an unarmed 14-year-old black boy and then struck him while he was lying on the ground, all while he was waiting for his friends in an abandoned house. The report concludes that in every dog bite incident reported, the person bitten was black.

After an officer assaulted a man, he demanded the man not pass out because he didn’t want to carry him to his car.

From October 2012 to October 2014, every time a person was arrested because he or she was “resisting arrest,” that person was black.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. detailed the findings of a civil rights investigation into the Ferguson, Mo., police department, saying there is an “implicit and explicit racial bias” that accounts for the hostile relations between law enforcement and residents. (AP)”

Like I said, I won’t deny there could be wrongdoing on the count of the Ferguson police, but I already posed valid questions on many of the points you (or the website you copy and pasted from without removing links that don’t link) raised.

Most city’s police departments act on a revenue based model instead of a true public safety agenda. They just may hide it better than Ferguson’s police. Citizens being bilked of their cash is common and indiscriminate. If you don’t follow the laws (and sometimes even if you do) you will often end up paying higher costs than the fee you were trying to avoid to begin with.

There is an absolute possibility that the crime statistics do amount to a disproportionate amount of criminals in the African American community instead of police harassment. That is the case with murders. I suspect the true answer lies somewhere in between higher rates of criminality by blacks as well as more police scrutiny and attention.

Many media sources will list the most outrageous sounding stories about fines and imprisonment, but in many cases what it comes down to is people not paying their fines for breaking the law in the first place. You or I would probably go to jail as well. This is nothing new and it isn’t exclusively for black people.

I remember hearing an interview with a black resident of the St. Louis area who was complaining that he was afraid to drive into the county area to see his kids because he didn’t have valid registration and might get pulled over and cited. It seemed he was implying that the police shouldn’t enforce registration laws for vehicles. I cannot understand this way of thinking.

As I said, the true answer is likely somewhere in between the Ferguson police pursuing biased and heavy handed tactics and the black community accounting for a higher rate of criminal activity.

In cases where the police are wrong, fry them. Punishment should be severe for those officers who betray their oath and the public’s trust.

If people are complaining about instances when the police are simply enforcing the law, they should be shamed by the media instead of embraced for cheap headlines.

Policing for profit rather than public safety is the new normal. This transcends race,

Unsocialized people, undereducated people, and poor people are overrepresented as victims of this racket.

Unsocialized people commit minor crimes and draw attention without fully understanding or caring about the consequences (e.g. walking in the street, provoking police). Undereducated people don’t recognize potential problems, plan ahead to avoid them, or solve problems that exist (e.g. pay fines promptly, fight in court). Poor people cannot resolve problems due to lack of money or time, if they are working long hours.

Lack of socialization, education, and money, reinforce each other in a downward spiral.

A disproportionate number of blacks, especially in poor neighborhoods, are unsocialized, undereducated, and poor. This is cultural and not dependent on skin color.

In the end, if the report was truly valid with solid evidence of wrongdoing, the Justice Department would be pushing this hard, going to court, getting people fired, sending people to jail, getting cash settlements for victims. At this time, it appears the magnitude of the problem is being blown up by the media.

Policing for profit and resorting to quick violence, not to mention unnecessary laws designed to support and encourage these behaviors, are problems for all Americans regardless of race. This will not go away as long as the government and media encourage division over peripheral or manufactured issues.

I found this article. Sums up a lot of the issues with the Justice Department’s report.

http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/030515-742174-holder-frames-ferguson-pd-with-bogus-stats.htm

“African Americans are overrepresented in FPD’s vehicular stops” and victims of “racial bias,” Holder concludes in his report.
He notes that blacks accounted for 85% of vehicle stops, “despite comprising only 67% of Ferguson’s population,” while whites made up 15% of stops, despite representing 29% of the population.

So there you have it, a slam-dunk case of racism, right? Hardly.

Outrageously, the nation’s top prosecutor failed to control for factors that explain the racial “disparity” in traffic stops, such as speeding, DUI, expired license plates, headlight, seat-belt and child-restraint violations and other reasons for being pulled over.

Holder’s own department statistics show that African Americans, on average, violate speeding and other traffic laws at much greater rates than whites.

“African Americans experience disparate impact in nearly every aspect of Ferguson’s law enforcement system,” his report finds.

But federal data compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show that blacks violate traffic laws at higher rates than whites in every offense, including driving with an invalid license.”

To me, the statistics don’t mean much. “Disparate impact” is a dangerous concept. It contends that someone who breaks a law shouldn’t be held accountable simply because a majority of people who broke that same law share the same skin color.

Does that work for white people as well?

Do laws against methamphetamine production or consumption affect white people more than other races?

Should we not enforce those laws as aggressively since they appear to have a disparate impact on one group of the population?

It is imperative that we use critical thinking on hot button issues. Sadly, this is often not the case for many Americans, even the ones who run the news media or top cabinet positions.

“Outrageously, the nation’s top prosecutor failed to control for factors that explain the racial “disparity” in traffic stops, such as speeding, DUI, expired license plates, headlight, seat-belt and child-restraint violations and other reasons for being pulled over.”

Again… the culture that walks in the street extends that unsocialized attitude to driving.

Another point… when I was much younger, a headlight burned out. I recognized this needed to be resolved (educated). Of course, there was always some other expense that was more important at the moment so it went on for a month (poor). When I got stopped by a cop, I was polite and apologetic and swore it just happened the night before and I was waiting for payday to resolve the issue (socialized). I got off with a warning due to my attitude. But it grudgingly pushed a new headlight to the top of my financial priority cue and the situation was resolved.

I can understand how some cultures would deal with this.

The headlight would burn out but there is still one so that is no problem. True poverty makes replacing the headlight a major issue. Interaction with police is hostile and defensive, making excuses and accusations. Due to attitude rather than racism, they get cited, generating additional expense that cannot be afforded. Continuing to not change the headlight or pay the fines, due to legitimate poverty, increases costs and legal issues, possibly resulting in bench warrants and arrest at some point.

I have seen white people go through this exact scenario… and they aren’t walking around with a manufactured Whitey Tryin To Get Me chip on their shoulder which adds to the whole problem.

The real problem is a cultural trait that equates education with trying to be “white”… a cultural trait that promotes and glorifies antisocial behaviors and attitudes as well as encourages conflict… and, despite generations of disproportionate government resource allocation, a higher rate of poverty that has a complex web of causes ranging from the attitudes on education to the antisocial behavior to lack of cohesive families to government/media’s habit of promoting excuses rather than solutions.

The last few years have really made me pay attention to this manufactured situation and I have some serious Afro-fatigue… as, perhaps, much of the nation is experiencing.

Thanks, Obama.

Bangladesh Seizes $1.4 Million In Gold From North Korean Diplomat

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/06/bangladesh-north-korea-diplomat-gold_n_6815958.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

DHAKA, March 6 (Reuters) – Bangladeshi customs officers caught a North Korean diplomat trying to smuggle an estimated $1.4 million worth of gold into the country, a senior official said on Friday.

“We recovered the gold both in the form of bars and ornaments from Son Young Nam, the First Secretary of the North Korean Embassy in Dhaka,” said Moinul Khan, Director General of the Custom Intelligence department, adding the gold weighed about 27 kg (60 pounds) in total.

Doesn’t everybody carry 60 lbs of Gold with them when they fly? Totally normal, and no reason to declare.

Denny,
Your link said this…”He acknowledge the faked story as…”

That is poor English[can you spot the mistake(s)] so I call B.S. on your claim which says nothing of “hands up, don’t shoot” specifically.

Where is the Holder video of him speaking specifically about “hands up, don’t shoot” being fake?????

According to your link…
“[The “hands up, don’t shoot” slogan used by Democratic activists since August 2013 is a complete falsehood, outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder admitted Wednesday. He acknowledge the faked story as he released the Justice Department’s investigation of the August 2014 shooting of Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Mo. “I recognize that the findings in our report may leave some to wonder how the department’s findings can differ so sharply from some of the initial, widely reported accounts of what transpired,” Holder said at the press conference.]”

So, you and others are reading or assuming MUCH, Holder investigated the Ferguson,, MO police because of an incident that happened in Aug. 2014 but the “hands up, don’t shoot” slogan has been used since 2013. What did Holder investigate from 2013 to learn it’s fake?

Ummm, you “doubted” until you see/saw the report, then you might have seen the report and say you posed valid questions, Ummm no you didn’t. What point or question do you have about the report? What do you doubt?

Do you really doubt the report because there wasn’t any mention of 4 or so types of arrests? Or are you just denying it because the tea party does?

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/04/us/justice-department-finds-pattern-of-police-bias-and-excessive-force-in-ferguson.html?_r=0
“They accounted for 85 percent of traffic stops, 90 percent of tickets and 93 percent of arrests. In cases like jaywalking, which often hinge on police discretion, blacks accounted for 95 percent of all arrests.

The racial disparity in those statistics was so stark that the Justice Department has concluded in a report scheduled for release on Wednesday that there was only one explanation: The Ferguson Police Department was routinely violating the constitutional rights of its black residents.

In a November 2008 email, a city official said Barack Obama would not be president long because “what black man holds a steady job for four years?” Another email included a cartoon depicting African-Americans as monkeys. A third described black women having abortions as a way to curb crime.

A black motorist who is pulled over is twice as likely to be searched as a white motorist, even though searches of white drivers are more likely to turn up drugs or other contraband, the report found.

Minor, largely discretionary offenses such as disturbing the peace and jaywalking were brought almost exclusively against blacks. When whites were charged with these crimes, they were 68 percent more likely to have their cases dismissed, the Justice Department found.”

Population 67% black

Vehicle stops 85% black ~ (2012-14)

Arrests 93% black ~ (2012-14)

Use of force 88% black ~ (2012-14)

Cases with warrants 92% black ~ (2013)

Jailed more than two days 95% black ~ (April to Sept. 2014)

Your tea party link says…
“Outrageously, the nation’s top prosecutor failed to control for factors that explain the racial “disparity” in traffic stops, such as speeding, DUI, expired license plates, headlight, seat-belt and child-restraint violations and other reasons for being pulled over.”

Ummm, Holder Federal or the investigators conducted hundreds of interviews, reviewed 35,000 pages of police records and analyzed race data compiled for every police stop. AND yes even speeding/DUI/expired license plates/headlights etc…

Your tea party link is a joke!!!

You tea party link also says…
“Holder’s own department statistics show that African Americans, on average, violate speeding and other traffic laws at much greater rates than whites.”

Please show me those stats? You shouldn’t believe tea party links because the ‘newsinvestor.com’ link didn’t link to anything, it just makes false claims!!! You’d think that if it’s going to quote federal date from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(or “Holder’s own department statistics”) there would be a link, but NOOOOOOOO, not from a tea party B.S. link.

And which links didn’t work on that WaPo article? Because, the 4 or 5 I clicked all worked.

Tbone, you should look on youtube for two videos.

1. Chris Rock telling blacks how to avoid getting beat up by the police

2. Any film showing Louis Farrakhan talking about white people.

Think about why these viseos were made. Think about the actions they generate.

To be more clear, attitude determines actions. If you walk around with a loser chip on your shoulder, you’re not likely to win many friends.

Even among people who could have easily been.

Tbone, CNN also reports that “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” was “inaccurate”.

To make it easier for those unable to handle a search engine that shows things other than HuffPo.

Chris Rock:
How not to get your ass kicked by the police!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uj0mtxXEGE8

Farrakhan:

et cetera, ad nauseum…

Setnaffy, I understand your fixation but the just because the actors are black doesn’t mean Chris Rock’s advice doesn’t apply to all races when interacting with the PO-lice.

You kinda gave yourself away there.

I was talking to tbone who is obviously fixated on race. Since you answered, you either ARE tbone or he is one of your sockpuppets.

And i already posted my advice on ANYONE dealing with the police. That is, be polite, tell them you do not wish to speak with them and you do not consent to any searches. Am I free to go?
