The Return of a Holiday Classic: Twas the Night Before Christmas on the DMZ

Christmas 2020 is finally here which means it is time to share Chickenhead’s classic carol, Twas the Night Before Christmas on the DMZ.

Christmas on the DMZ

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the DMZ, the darkness was stirred by a lone Christmas tree.

Love gifts were hung from the balloons with care, in hopes they’d pass north through the cold winter air.

The soldiers were nestled all snug in their bunks, while visions of peaceful reunification gave them goose bumps.

With a ho in her hooker boots, and I in the buff, I had just bent her over to treat her ass good and rough.

When out on the lawn arose loud banging and clicking, I sprang from my bed to see whose ass needed kicking.

Away to the window I flew all in fear, knocked over my soju and two bottles of beer.

The moon on the snow and the flares in the sky, gave the luster of mid-day so I could not deny.

When, what to my wondering eyes should I see, but a horde of Nork soldiers, tanks and artillery.

With pictures of Dear Leader and muzzle flashes aglow, I wished for more combat training instead of briefings from EO.

They yelled threats and commands, I knew I was funked. My Tagalog was great but my Korean skills sucked.

“Now, Kim! Now, Lee! Now, Park and Gong! On, Choi! On Kwak! On, Nam and Song!

To the top of the hill! To the top of the wall! Now kill the white devils, kill them all!”

And they hit the main gate the first time they tried, where napping KATUSAs with empty guns died.

They attacked the wall of the BX and opened a chasm, and looted the place, a black market orgasm.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard down the hall, shooting and stabbing and harsh Han Gook Mal.

As I searched for a weapon and looked all around, an evil Nork soldier came in with a bound.

He was dressed all in rags, from his head to his foot, and his sockless toes could be seen through his boot.

A smoking AK he had flung on his back, and I picked up my XBox to give him a whack.

His eyes – how they twinkled! Narrow and scarry! But he looked like a teen who still had his cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up in rage, and though I hadn’t saved my game, I had to engage.

A rusty old knife, he held in his teeth, as with hunger abound, he’d likely eaten the sheath.

He had a big square head and lacked any belly, while I only passed my tape test on a diet of petroleum jelly.

I put down my XBox and said, “Here’s the deal.” “If you don’t kill me, I’ll cook you a meal.”

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his plate, and gobbled Hamburger Helper like a trailer park date.

To get him to leave, I thought of more ploys, “Why don’t you take my hot juicy back to your boys?”

He sprang out the door with my juicy in tow, and the last that I saw, they’d formed a line in the snow.

I hid under my bed with my XBox on, And played Medal of Honor ’till the airstrike got here from Guam.

This classic just never gets old. I hope everyone has a great Christmas!

Report Claims that North Korean Fisherman Executed for Listening to Radio Free Asia

The usual caveats apply when it comes to news from North Korea due to the inability to confirm the rumors that come out of the place. With that said I can definitely imagine this execution happening considering the importance of isolating the population from outside information:

Authorities in North Korea executed the owner of a fishing fleet in front of 100 boat captains and fisheries executives for secretly listening to broadcasts by Radio Free Asia and other forbidden media outlets while at sea, sources in the country told RFA.

The fishing boat captain, who picked up the habit of tuning in to broadcasts from abroad while in the military, confessed to having listened to the U.S. government-funded media outlet for more than 15 years, after he was turned in by a resentful crewman at his base in the northeastern port city of Chongjin.

Ex-Justice Ministers Wife Receives Four Year Jail Sentence for Corruption

This is part of the reason why the Moon administration has been going after Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl because he had his prosecutors investigate this corruption:

Chung Kyung-sim arrives at the Seoul Central District Court in Seocho District, Wednesday, for a trial over charges related to illegal document fabrication to get her daughter admitted to a medical school and illegal investment in a private equity fund. Yonhap

Former Justice Minister Cho Kuk’s wife was sentenced by a Seoul court on Wednesday to imprisonment of four years for academic fraud.

The Seoul Central District Court handed down the jail sentence, together with a fine of 500 million won (US$451,000), to Chung Kyung-sim, the wife of the former presidential secretary for civil affairs and a close aide to President Moon Jae-in.

The court also ordered the immediate imprisonment of Chung.

Chung was indicted in November last year on 15 counts of charges related to her daughter’s college admission and her dubious investment in a private equity fund (PEF).

Chung is accused of being involved in fabricating documentation from 2013-2014, including a college presidential citation, in order to get her daughter admitted to medical school.

You can read more at the link, but I doubt that she will do four years in jail. She will get her sentenced reduced probably on appeal as things tend to happen. Her husband Cho Kuk is still under investigation for his role in these corrupt dealings.

USS Ronald Reagan Reportedly has a COVID Outbreak

This is something that the Stars & Stripes in my opinion should not be publishing considering it involves the readiness of a U.S. aircraft carrier. Additionally people should not be leaking these emails to the Stars & Stripes to begin with:

Coronavirus forced some of its crew to quarantine aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, shown here in July 2019, at its homeport, Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, for the December 2020 holidays.

Hundreds of sailors from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan are quarantined after having close contact with others who tested positive for the coronavirus, according to emails between the ship’s leaders.

About 350 Reagan sailors “are in some form of” quarantine at Yokosuka, the carrier’s homeport, according to executive officer Capt. Matthew Ventimiglia, who started an email chain Sunday between the ship’s senior leaders. Some are in isolation because they recently arrived in Japan, according to Ventimiglia’s email.

Stars and Stripes on Tuesday obtained the email chain, which includes messages from Reagan commander Capt. Fred Goldhammer and senior medical officer Capt. George Rice to department heads and leading chief petty officers.

Due to the growing COVID daily case numbers the ROK government has decided on a nation wide ban on groups of five or more people:

South Korea will ban private gatherings of five or more people during the upcoming holiday season to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun said Tuesday.

The new restriction will be part of the government’s special antivirus measures in effect from Thursday until Jan. 3, Chung said during an interagency meeting on the COVID-19 pandemic response.

It is an extension of a ban that was previously limited to Seoul and the adjacent Incheon and Gyeonggi Province from Wednesday until Jan. 3.

ROK Vice Justice Minister Gets Away with Assaulting Cab Driver

Another member of the Moon administration gets away with committing a crime:

Police are looking into past cases that are similar to the new vice justice minister’s unpunished assault against a taxi driver to determine whether officers took appropriate steps at the time of the incident, a police official said Monday.

Vice Justice Minister Lee Yong-gu has come under fire after it was reported late last week that he got away free following the altercation in early November.

Lee, who was a lawyer at the time, allegedly grabbed the driver by the collar in an intoxicated state when the man tried to wake him up after arriving at his home in southern Seoul. He was appointed vice minister on Dec. 2.

“We will once again thoroughly review legal precedents with the help of former jurists, lawyers and senior officials who handled the case at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency,” the official said.

The Seocho Police Station, which has jurisdiction over Lee’s neighborhood, applied charges of assault, a crime not punishable against will, not the heavier charges that apply to assault against a driver in motion.
