Kim Jong Il Has No Plans to Invade?

According to Yonhap News, Kim Jong Il has no plans to invade South Korea.

SEOUL, Dec. 25 (Yonhap) — North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has disavowed having any plan to invade South Korea, claiming that it is in fact South Korea which plots to invade the North, a North Korean report said Saturday.

Radio Pyongyang carried Kim’s remarks in a commentary, denouncing the South’s plan to increase its self-defense capabilities. The broadcaster did not provide details, including when and where Kim made such remarks.

Boy, I feel so much better now that I can count on Kim Jong Il’s word that he won’t ever invade South Korea.
