Lindsey Graham is unquestionably dead.
Mitch McConnell had vanished with Trump responding to reporters that he doesn’t know his status (of course he does)… likely just waiting for rigor tortoise to set in.
The Save America Act simply requires proof of citizenship to vote. The best excuse for opposition is that people who can’t prove they are citizens won’t be able to vote.

True that “seriously injured” or “very seriously injured” applies only if there’s a risk of death within 72 hours. Other injuries (even severe, life-altering ones) fall under “not seriously injured” (NSI).
False that this is unusual procedure or somehow different than before. It is a longstanding DoD protocol for casualty reporting, not unique to this incident

I care more about the bloodthirsty portion of his platform. His desired policy of either joining every conflict directly or funding them endlessly whether they have any US interest or not is disgusting to me.

Mail in ballots are ripe for fraud. There should be a reasonable chain of custody for almost every vote cast in our elections with possible exceptions for military and disabled/elderly.
The framing is backwards. The fraud shouldn’t have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Full accounting should have to be proven. That’s impossible with mail in ballots, and likely by design.
If a chain of custody isn’t established, and especially if efforts to move towards that direction are blocked, then my belief is that it’s safe to assume the fraud is real and is protected at multiple levels.

When I read this, implying all injured soldiers got inferior treatment becasue of a paperwork classification and then sent off to recover in a barracks for a week no matter what their injuries were, I begin to suspect the article had other mischaracterizations.

Although I have been poking fun at the good senator for possibly being in the closet, I truly couldn’t care less as long as his relations were with willing participants of legal age.
I care more about the bloodthirsty portion of his platform. His desired policy of either joining every conflict directly or funding them endlessly whether they have any US interest or not is disgusting to me.
Maybe he was closeted. Maybe there are more closeted MAGA politicians. It’s not really an insult any more. Most of us just don’t care what adults do in their own home as long as its consensual and all parties are of legal age. That doesn’t mean its celebrated.

Graham has been around a long time. He didn’t just “realize” something that much of the American public has been screaming for decades.
He knew very well and chose to act against American and civil society’s interests on many occasions.
Graham may have had some internal code of morals and values that he wanted to be consistent with but he was either playing a political game for other reasons or he was owned to some extent… as he was not consistent.
Anti-Trump Graham became pro-Trump because Trump owned him more or Trump owned the people who owned Graham and protected him.
We don’t know exactly.
But we do know Graham didn’t suddenly realize anything.

I’m not saying Graham didn’t have political motivations for changing his tune, but I am saying that I’ve noticed boomers have been incredibly slow to updating their world view.

But one thing is true.
Trump is going to give a nationwide speech on election fraud on Thursday.
There must be:
– a clear issue
– a concrete example
– nameabled criminals
– legal action
Generalities will be disappointing.

Mail in ballots are ripe for fraud. There should be a reasonable chain of custody for almost every vote cast in our elections with possible exceptions for military and disabled/elderly.
The framing is backwards. The fraud shouldn’t have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Full accounting should have to be proven. That’s impossible with mail in ballots, and likely by design.
If a chain of custody isn’t established, and especially if efforts to move towards that direction are blocked, then my belief is that it’s safe to assume the fraud is real and is protected at multiple levels.
@chickenhead, I doubt you are going to see anything you would like to in this speech. The Democrats have made ballot harvesting essentially legalized fraud and Republicans do not seem eager to stop it. I think this is what Trump will highlight and why Congress needs to pass voter ID.
