Every time the Korea Thing copy-pastes his AI slop, it brings a smile to my face.
It costs me nothing for it to exist. It is neither amusing nor annoying.
It is simply ambiant background noise from a class of inconsequential people that is as meaningless and easy to ignore as the sound of traffic.
It brings a smile simply becasue it is a rare chance to watch a new paradigm develop, exploit, and fail in a way we normally only see in history books.
These low-value people were powerless and ignored before AI and they are powerless and ignored even after they learned how to copy-paste whatever the commercial AI vomited up to satisfy what once was an ignored whine and now is a prompt.
The false appearance of wisdom and knowledge makes them think they have become some sort of intellectual equal to the average member of society.
But they are really just a meat puppet… the lowest expendable foot soldier in the Robot Revolution as AI empowers the smartest people while talking to itself through the dumbest¹.

My point is that The Guardian is left wing media; full of soccer stories, railing against USAF airbases in England and ranting against Big Tobacco and promoting universal healthcare.
Korea Herald and Korea Times are centre right and right respectively; not so many soccer stories, plenty of baseball, deep love for Osan Airbase, positive coverage on ROK defense industry and alliance with USA, nil, zip, nada on Big Tobacco.
Admittedly, both of these Korean media outlets are unashamedly keen on universal healthcare; which doesn’t make them rightwing. The rightwing governments elected in Hungary and Italy both support universal healthcare in their election manifestos.

There is almost no theft at all in Muslim countries. Abandoned cars litter the highways in Kuwait and they could have the keys in them and no one would take them. Except perhaps the unsuspecting foreigner who gets to have his hand removed.
(this actually did almost happen to a couple of RAF pilots years ago, when they got drunk and thought it would be funny to take a Lamborghini (or similar) someone had left running out for a drive and it ended up belonging to some prince. ‘Twas a bit of an international incident but ended well (at least, they were deported intact).
